Recently I've read about and heard fellow practitioner's talking about lawyers in Mainland China that are helping to expose the persecution of Falun Gong. This of course is very good, but as practitioners we need to have a clear understanding on this type of situation.
The reason that we want to work with these lawyers, or anyone that comes out and exposes the persecution of Dafa, is to save more sentient beings, especially Chinese people who have been poisoned the deepest. It is to show everyone just what exactly the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is and the crimes it has committed. It is to help all people have righteous thoughts and stand up for what is right, like these lawyers. It is not, though, to be seen as a way to get ordinary people to restore the name of Dafa or have Dafa disciples get something out of it. Dafa disciples are the ones saving sentient beings.
Lawyers who do not practice Falun Gong that are standing up to help Dafa disciples resist the persecution are making a great and righteous choice for themselves. Because of this, we should be happy for them and support them. But we should not put our hopes of having the persecution end because of them. Just the opposite, we should have righteous thoughts and have concern and be responsible for their safety.

Dafa disciples should have righteous thoughts in every situation. We should take responsibility for the safety of individuals at this time that dare to speak out for Dafa and those that dare to renounce the CCP! We cannot, though, put our hopes in these people, wishing to end the persecution through their efforts. We need to recognize that this is their choice to stand up for what is right, and they need our full support. With our support, more people will be encouraged to stand on the side of justice and speak out for Falun Gong.
