The Head of the Gansu Daily Died as a Result of Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Shi Xingguang was born in Minqin County, Gansu Province in July 1945. He graduated from the Chinese Language Department of Northwest Normal University and worked in Zhangye City. Shi Xingguang became a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) member in September 1974. Between January 1999 and March 2005, he was the deputy minister of the provincial propaganda department and the head of the Gansu Daily. The Gansu media praised Shi Xingguang, saying that he was loyal to the CCP's activities and was an "outstanding" propagandist and journalist.

It is well known that the Gansu Daily has acted as a tool of the Jiang Zemin regime and the CCP to create slander and disseminate lies in the persecution of Falun Dafa. As the deputy minister of the provincial propaganda department and the head of the Gansu Daily at the time, Shi Xingguang committed a big crime. Around 10:00 a.m. on November 16, 2005, Shi was killed in Lanzhou by convicts who had served their terms and been released.

We hope that through this case of karmic retribution, those who are engaged in reporting the news but who have lost their conscience and moral sense and have been led to participate in the persecution of Falun Dafa can be awakened. They need to act quickly to make up the loss they have brought to Falun Dafa and to practitioners. For their own future and for their eternal lives, they should quickly learn the truth of Falun Dafa and act according to the Falun Dafa Association Announcement. Don't miss this precious chance.
