Finland: Clarifying the Truth in Helsinki (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the 26th of November, 2005, the first snow arrived in Helsinki, a month later than usual. In order for people to hear the truth about Falun Gong, practitioners moved the truth-clarifying venue from outside the Helsinki railway station to the lobby connecting the railway station and the subway.

At noon, practitioners set up an exhibition of articles and photos about the spread of Falun Gong and the 6-year brutal persecution of practitioners in China since July 20, 1999, headed by Jiang Zemin in collusion with the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). Practitioners also demonstrated the peaceful Falun Gong exercises. Some practitioners distributed materials about the practice and the ongoing persecution in China.
Passengers and pedestrians were attracted by the beautiful Falun Gong music and the relaxing and elegant exercise demonstration and stopped to watch. A lot of people surrounded the photo exhibition board to have a clear view. Some could not wait to read the fliers. Others requested more details or asked questions.
Some people asked: "Why would China persecute such a good practice?"
A practitioner said that he thought it was because former CCP leader Jiang Zemin was envious and fearful. Jiang was afraid his rule would be threatened by Falun Gong, which at the time outnumbered the CCP. Out of irrational fear and jealousy, he thus started the persecution. However, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, a series of editorials by the Epoch Times published at the end of last year, pointed out clearly that the evil nature of the CCP prompted the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who practice "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance". However, evil can never defeat righteousness. Since the publication of the "Nine Commentaries" last year, nearly six million Chinese citizens have withdrawn from the communist party. It will not be long before the CCP is destroyed. The practitioners said, "We are here today to tell the Finnish people the true story of Falun Gong and hope that the people of the world can bring to an end this inhumane persecution together with us."
One person said, "When a large number of people work together, it will generate enormous energy. Good luck to you!"
