(Clearwisdom.net) Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Beijing City is a center for persecuting female Falun Gong practitioners. Since July 20, 1999 when the persecution started, thousands of female Falun Gong practitioners have been detained there. The policemen torture the practitioners using all means including beating and insulting them, sleep deprivation, locking them outside in the freezing winter, and shocking them with electric batons. They use especially severe tortures on practitioners who firmly refuse to renounce Falun Gong.
The second time practitioner Ms. Wang Yongmei, a graduate student from Qinghua University, was detained there she was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor. To force her to give up her faith, they put her into the so-called Special Reform Team and tortured her day and night.
Practitioner Ms. Li Yuying, a former policewoman in the forced labor camp system, was thrown into solitary confinement. Every day policemen and criminals tortured her, beat her, and deprived her of sleep. Later Ms. Li was transported to a secret place and tortured. Policemen refuse to release any information about her, so no one knows her whereabouts.
Practitioner Ms. Wang Jiaqi is from Huairou County, Beijing City. She was abducted to Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp for a second time because she refused to renounce Falun Gong when she was detained the first time. She revealed the monstrous crimes the policemen committed against Falun Gong practitioners and clarified the facts about Falun Gong. They kept her in solitary confinement. No one knows her whereabouts or anything about the persecution she has recently suffered.
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaolan is from Fangshan District, Beijing City and has been detained for a second time. They detained her separately and nobody knows her situation.
Practitioner Ms. Yang Xiaofeng refused to give up her belief and went on a hunger strike for over five months. Policemen force-fed her at the Tiantanghe Hospital, but she continued the hunger strike. Then she was transferred and given a shot of toxic drugs. After returning to the forced labor camp, she appeared to have suffered a mental collapse. The policemen continue forcing her to do very heavy labor.
Practitioner Ms. Bao Lijun went on a hunger strike for over eight months. Policemen and criminals continuously beat, force-fed her, and deprived her of sleep. She is now only skin and bones, and she suffers many health problems including organ failure. However, the policemen continue to persecute her.
The Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp is detaining three to four hundred Falun Gong practitioners. The police assigned a few criminals to monitor each practitioner and forced the practitioners to watch videos with fabricated stories, and study and discuss slanderous anti-Falun Gong propaganda. Except for the time spent in the intensified brainwashing sessions, they force the practitioners to work over twelve hours every day. The torture has seriously damaged the detained practitioners physically and mentally.
The following is an incomplete list of employees at the Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp and the judicatory system of Beijing City who are actively persecuting Falun Gong practitioners:
Zhu Xiaoli, a vice captain of a brigade in the Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp, is in charge of "transforming" (see note on "reformed") practitioners and has committed countless crimes in persecuting Falun Dafa and Falun Gong practitioners.
Li Jirong is a former brigade captain at Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp in charge of "transforming" Falun Gong practitioners. As he worked strenuously to brainwash Falun Gong practitioners, he was promoted to the Justice Bureau of Beijing City and is in charge of activities to force practitioners to renounce Falun Gong.
Xu Kaixuan is an official in the Anti-Cult Department of the Forced Labor Bureau of Beijing City. Forcing practitioners to give up Falun Gong is his only job. To torment practitioners, he delivered a series of lectures decrying the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance principle taught by Falun Dafa.
Li Shoufen, a brigade captain at the Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp, invented the so-called "27-means," that is, 27 ways of torturing practitioners.
Wang Wenzhong, working in the Psychology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, actively cooperates with Xinan Women's Forced Labor Camp and the Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp to "transform" Falun Gong practitioners. Detained practitioners are repeatedly forced to listen to his lectures slandering Falun Gong. Under the banner of science, he also actively involves himself in the "transforming" efforts conducted by the local 610 Office.
