Western Practitioner: The Persecution of Falun Gong is a Persecution of the World's People

(Clearwisdom.net) As Falun Gong practitioners have staged anti-torture exhibits day-in and day-out on the streets of Manhattan, the people in Manhattan have begun to be more and more clearheaded about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners; a large group of good people being singled out for economic, physical and mental persecution, for torture, torture, imprisonment and even death, by the wicked Chinese ex-leader and his clique.

However, something that people might still not be aware of is how the persecution of Falun Gong is also the persecution of the rest of the world's people as well.

How?

Before the persecution started in 1999, the benefits of Falun Gong were well known to people. There were so many amazing stories of physical and mental changes in the lives of practitioners that one would be truly touched upon listening to them.

After the persecution began, people who follow Truth-Compassion-Tolerance were labeled as "evil" - by the most evil regime in human history, ironically - and people have been incited to hate and beat them and throw them into prison where they can be abused further.

So many people in China have willingly taken part in lending a hand to this persecution, or turning their face the other way when they witness this gross injustice and abuse of human rights. And they did it all for temporal practical benefits, like gaining a raise or a small promotion.

Some people outside China have also completely neglected the CCP's human rights abuses and poured money into China, hoping to make money off the world's largest marketplace. Not only have they already lost the money, but much of the money has been siphoned off in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.

All this is dangerous for the world's people, who've unwittingly supported this.

By unwittingly supporting an evil regime and turning their backs on an unprecedented persecution, the people of the world are turning their backs on the persecution of good people who practice Truth-Compassion-Tolerance.

Basically, they are saying, "Who cares about Truth-Compassion-Tolerance? As long as I have money and a good life, even if it is made of others or in assisting evil, it is fine."

But, there is an ancient law in the universe - good is returned with good, and evil with evil. Also, the very nature of the universe is Truth, Compassion and Tolerance, and it has been seen throughout history how when man follows the Tao, the Will of Heaven, and the principles of the Universe, he is blessed with peace and prosperity. When he turns against the Tao, all is lost.

By persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, siding with the evil regime that is persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, or investing with the Party and giving it financial support, people are not only doing evil - for which there will be karmic retribution according to the standards of the universe - but they are also assisting the persecution of the principles of the universe itself, the persecution of the Fa or the Dao. As a result, turning against the very characteristic of the universe that gives them life, according to the laws of the universe, they forfeit the ability to continue to be human.

In this way, the evil regime in China is not only persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. They are persecuting the people of the world and pushing them toward moral and spiritual destruction.

If people of the world could truly understand what Falun Gong is and step forward against the persecution going on in China, that would mean that humanity, in this age of low moral standards, would be returning to the path of the Dao and forever be blessed with peace and prosperity.
