(Clearwisdom.net) In 2003, Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuxia was abducted by the First Section of the Fushun City Police Department and the Fushun Detention Center. She died after 15 days of cruel torture. Ms. Wang was from Qingyuan County of Fushun City, Liaoning Province. In 2000, Ms Wang Xiuxia's husband, Sun Hongchang, was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. At the time of Ms. Wang's death, her younger son Sun Feng was only 12 years old. He not only has to bear the agony of losing his mother but also fears for his father's safety. Sun Feng has suffered from ill health as a result of such stress. He has been cared for by relatives since his mother's death. At the end of December 2004, Sun Feng's health became extremely compromised. On several occasions he was sent to the emergency room at the hospital of Shenyang Medical University. His situation improved after receiving blood transfusions, but these were also quite costly. Sun Bin, Wang Xiuxia's older son, is currently a university student.
