The next day, the police instigated five or six inmates to push me to the floor and cut off all my hair. To protest the kidnapping, persecution and imprisonment, I went on a hunger strike. Because I refused to read the prison rules and kept practicing Falun Gong, the policeman handcuffed my feet for a week as punishment. On the fourth day of my hunger strike, policeman Liu ordered inmates to force-feed me. They pushed me onto the floor, stood on my feet, and twisted my hands so that I would be in too much pain to resist. One person pushed my head, while another pinched my nose to suffocate me. One inmate named Liu Min is very evil. He pulled my lips so hard that they split. Another inmate used a brush (used to clean bathrooms) to pry open my mouth and then used a bottle to force food into my mouth. Because of my resistance, the food would not stay in. They tortured me like this for about a half an hour. My nose was bent, my face was beaten up, and my mouth was bleeding.

Because they were unable to force much food in, it was difficult for the inmate chief to make a report to the police. He forced other inmates to drag me to a pond where they splashed water in my face while they restrained me by my chest, waist and feet. They said that they wanted me to "have enough to drink." After I struggled out of the water, with the last of my remaining strength, several inmates kicked me to the ground and stepped on me, saying that they wanted to torture me efficiently. These people are heartless. They also smacked my face when I shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" I was full of righteous energy, though, and kept shouting, "Falun Dafa is good!" Finally they realized that they could not force me to surrender, and they stopped.

The doctor from the prison hospital administered the second force-feeding by sticking a tube into my stomach. Afterwards, I was very agitated, could not sleep, and had a chemical taste in my mouth. I knew that they'd put a drug into the food. They'd do anything to get what they wanted. The next day, my mind was not clear, my reactions were delayed, and I often said things I did not intend to say.

Another time, when eight or nine people tried their best to force-feed me, my lips were torn and bleeding, my teeth were hit and my mouth was swollen. But because of the magical strength of Dafa, they could not get anything in. They still attempted to force-feed me, and I suffered for over eight minutes this time. With the help of my righteous thoughts though, they did not succeed. Then they went crazy. They brought in a wooden board, which is a torture method for the severe criminals. The policemen even used this method to torture a good person. Their acts were extreme. I tried my best to resist. The inmates tied me to the wooden board to start the force-feeding. They tortured me three times in one afternoon this way. Because I refused to cooperate, the inmate chief prompted other inmates to stop me from sleeping. Once I closed my eyes, they would slap my face or kick me and forced me to stay awake the whole night. I resisted the torture gracefully as a Falun Dafa practitioner.

During the hunger strike, a doctor from the prison hospital force-fed me three times and prompted other inmates to force-feed me seven times. Every time I was tortured, I was left with many scars. On the 16th day of my hunger strike, my body was very weak, and I was on the verge of dying. The police bureau and the detention center had to notify my family to take me home. I looked like a different person from the one who had entered the detention center. My face and mouth are disfigured. I have difficulty talking. I have headaches, I am weak, I have no appetite, and I can't sleep well at night. I still have scars on my face as result of the force-feedings, and I am as skinny as a skeleton. Many relatives and friends were heartbroken when they saw me and said that I was persecuted into a "little old man." My reactions are very slow from the drugs they gave me during the force-feedings. Before my arrest I was fine and happy and had quick reflexes, and many people said I was youthful. After 10 days of detention I was persecuted to this extent. The Tianxin District National Security Brigade of the Changsha City Detention Center is fully responsible for this. During my hunger strike, the doctors from the prison hospital and the policemen at the detention center committed crimes knowing full well that their actions were illegal, but they still instigated inmates to force-feed me brutally. The policemen saw the inmates beat me and not allow me to sleep, but they did not care and encouraged the inmates. This is how badly I was tortured. These people do not care about their conscience or about their professional ethics as policemen. Their acts also violated the law and related regulations. They have certainly broken criminal law, clause 13. The policeman Liu and prison doctors are directly responsible. The chief at the detention center is also responsible. I ask higher-level officials of the administration office to differentiate the truth from falsehood, and order them to correct their actions to prevent this from happening again.
