My Husband Was Persecuted to the Point of Mental Collapse and Death

(Clearwisdom.net) My husband used to be quite weak, due to a number of illnesses. After he started to cultivate Falun Dafa in 1997, all the illnesses disappeared, and he became a good-tempered and nicer person.

After July 1999, he was cruelly persecuted by the Jiang Zemin regime. In August 2001, he was illegally sent to a brainwashing class at the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp to be "reformed." In only a few days, he was tortured to the point of mental collapse.

In February 2002, still not fully recovered, he was once again forcibly taken away and illegally sentenced to eighteen months of imprisonment. He was again sent to the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp.

In the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp, guards attempted to force him to give up Falun Dafa and write statements renouncing Falun Dafa. This seriously hurt him both physically and mentally. When he was released in July 2003, he was already unable to take care of himself. His stomach was badly swollen, and he was extremely weak. The doctor diagnosed him with heart failure. He was later diagnosed with cerebral thrombosis, a swollen liver, and pulmonary disease. He was bedridden for a long time and he eventually passed away in November 2004.

Simply because he cultivated Falun Dafa and became a good person practicing the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, my husband died from the persecution orchestrated by the Jiang Zemin regime.
