The Power of Righteous Thoughts
(Clearwisdom.net) 1. In spring 2002, I was sent to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in
Changchun City, Jilin Province. Another practitioner, Wei Guobin from Bajibao,
Nongan County was also sent there at the same time. In the beginning, Wei
believed that it was "natural" to be detained and persecuted by the
police. Such an impure understanding allowed the evil to take advantage of him,
and guard Gao Zhilu repeatedly interrogated him. During his third interrogation,
Wei finally realized that something was wrong because other practitioners were
usually interrogated only once. Wei then understood that it must be interference
from the dark minions, and decided not to cooperate with their evil
arrangements. Thus, Wei refused to answer any questions and constantly sent
forth righteous thoughts towards Gao Zhilu. A few minutes later, Gao Zhilu
fainted while verbally abusing Falun Gong. After this incident, I truly experienced the power of righteous thoughts. In
the forced labor camp, we were under constant surveillance, and this made it
difficult to read Zhuan Falun or Teacher's new articles. We realized
however, that as long as we had strong righteous thoughts, Master was by our
sides protecting us. The inmates who were sent to monitor us helped us by
guarding the door. The guards on duty were afraid of entering the cell where
practitioners were detained, and did not dare to come in the cell to check up on
us. 2. Chu Liwen, who was detained in Changle Forced Labor Camp, Weifang City,
Shandong Province, woke up early one morning to do the sitting meditation
exercise on the bed. The inmate who was monitoring practitioners saw him and
told him to stop. Chu Liwen, however, remained calm and did not stop, but
quietly sent out a thought towards the inmate to "go away."
Miraculously, the inmate on duty immediately ran away. After that incident, the
inmate told others, "I'm not sure what happened. I just felt extremely
frightened while looking at him doing the meditation exercise, so I ran
away."
