Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wei Yi is in his sixties and lives on Hedong Street in Xichang City, Sichuan Province. At around noon on February 3, 2004, Xichang City State Security police officer Luo Yi and others arrested him and ransacked his home. After detaining him for more than seven months, the Xichang City People's Court sentenced him to three years in prison. The trial was secretly held, and his family was orally notified on October 13, 2004, after the time limit for appealing the ruling had already passed. Mr. Wei's family appealed according to their legal right, but the prefecture s middle court rejected their appeal letter, telling them there was an order from the superiors stating that they are not allowed to accept the filing in any cases related to Falun Gong.

In January 2005, Mr. Wei Yi was secretly sent to Deyang Prison. On January 17, practitioners who had been sentenced to serve time in a labor camp were secretly sent to the Sichuan Provincial Women s Labor Camp. They include Ms. Lu Yuancui, Ms. Guo Hongping, and Ms. Wang Xiaofang. The 610 Office planned these actions, which were carried out by the City State Security Police.

The facts of how Donglu Township Head Fan Zhiwen (male) has persecuted Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaoli and her family from Nanwangzhuang Village, Donglu Township, Qingyuan County, Hebei Province, have been exposed on the Internet multiple times. On the afternoon of December 27, 2004, around 4 p.m. Fan Zhiwen arrested Ms. Zhang Xiaoli's husband Hu Xiaole without any legal procedures and had him sentenced to 18 months in a labor camp.

Ms. Zhang Xiaoli and her husband now are both being held in Balizhuang Labor Camp in Baoding City, Hebei Province. Their elder son Hu Shan is 16 years old and has been detained in the County Detention Center for more than 40 days. Their second son Hu Ze is 12 years old and has been left at home alone. Ms. Zhang Xiaoli is being tortured by being locked in the "small cell."

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chang Liping from Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province, was sent to Wanjia Labor Camp three times but was rejected due to her heart condition. Acheng City No.2 Detention Center officials bribed a Harbin City Labor Camp Administration employee and then sent Ms. Chang there a fourth time, forcing them to accept her. The labor camp system has a rule forbidding a person to be sent more than three times.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Xiuzhi from Sanhe City, Hebei Province, was arrested on January 6, 2005 when clarifying the truth in Changying in the Chaoyang District of Beijing. She is now detained at 6901 Guanzhuang, Chaoyang District, Beijing.

Mr. Lu Zhiyong won the title of "Best Police Officer" at the Heishui County Forestry Police Station in the Aba Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province. He is a solid Falun Dafa practitioner. On the afternoon of December 15, 2004, at around 4 p.m. three police officers arrested him when he clarified the truth to people. Mr. Lu pointed out that they were violating the law as policemen, public servants entrusted with upholding the law. They replied outrageously, "There is no law here. None of the constitution can be applied here!"

Mr. Lu Zhiyong is now detained in Luhua Detention Center in Heishui County.

She was released from the Chaoyang District Detention Center after going on a hunger strike for several days. She was arrested again on November 4, 2004, and has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison.

On the morning of January 12, 2005, police arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Bian Deying and Ms. Zhang Fuzhen from Hancang Village, Guodian Town, Jinan City, Shandong Province, for posting truth clarifying materials on the street. Police sent them to a brainwashing class located in Liuchangshan, Jinan City. They have totally lost their freedom. In addition, their families had to pay 5000 yuan for each of them to attend the class.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wen Chuanfang is a 61 year-old retired engineer from the Yumen City Petroleum Administration. She lives at 2 Hongyun Street, Hongyun Garden, Jinyang Neighborhood, Wuhou District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. In November 2004, she was arrested for copying a VCD in the Shuangnan Store. Two days later, Deputy Director Bai from the Jinyang Police Substation ransacked her home with a group of police. They asked her husband to pay 6000 yuan. He refused. Bai said it will be withdrawn from her monthly retirement salary.

Ms. Wen is now being held in a brainwashing class held in Majiaci Town on 66 Caojin Street in Chengdu City. She was once sent to the hospital for a check-up due to high blood pressure, and then returned to the class.

On the morning of December 9, 2004, around 5 a.m. police officers from Niangniangzhuang Township Substation of Zunhua City, Hebei Province, including Dong Lixin, Wang Shuhai, Qin Shougang, Han Shuyan and several others stormed into the homes of Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Han Guangxiang of Xiayu Village and Ms. Zhang Shuqing of Dongzhuang Village, one by one, arrested them, and ransacked their homes. They were both handcuffed and had their ankles shackled. They were each sentenced to two years in the Kaiping Labor Camp in Tangshan City on the same day.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Xiyuan and others who are detained in the Yueyang County Detention Center were arrested on the evening of November 29, 2004, when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Weidong Township, Yueyang County. Police brutally beat her up and then hung her up on a vehicle by her handcuffs for more than one hour without letting her feet touch the ground. They sent her to the Yueyang County State Security Team, where police officers Guo Shengqiang, Li Xiaomao, and others used wooden sticks to beat Ms. Jiang until the sticks broke in half. They then used bamboo spikes to jab at her face, nose, and eyes, severely injuring her face. Her face, hands, and feet were covered with wounds. They beat her violently with their fists and kicked her five times before sending her back to the Yueyaong County Detention Center.

Ms. Jiang Xiyuan's family tried three times to have her released, but the police have refused to do so.

11. [Kashigaimaiti County, Xinjing Uigher Autonomous District] Mr. Ma Jixu and Ms. Bao Wenjun Are Detained for Passing Out Truth Clarifying Materials, and Locals Are Harassed

On November 27, 2004, local police arrested and detained Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Ma Jixu and Mr. Bao Wenjun from Hongguang Farm in the No.9 Township of Maigaiti County, Kashi City, Xinjing Uighur Autonomous District, for passing out truth clarifying materials in the nearby No.48 Agricultural Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corporation. From the time of this incident until January 6, 2005, eight more Falun Dafa practitioners and their family members from Hongguang Farm have been arrested and detained. Their homes were ransacked and all of their personal possessions were stolen. It did not stop there. As punishment, all related public employees have had 30% of their salaries withheld; the No.9 Township Police Substation Director was dismissed from his job; and wherever there are Falun Dafa practitioners employed, their employer must do extra community work and pay an extra fee.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Tiancai from Guanghua Township, Tonghua County, Jilin Province, is 43 years old. On the evening of December 4, 2004, Guanghua Township Chair Diao Xisen (male) led Township Officials and police to ransack Mr. Li Tiancai's home and arrest Mr. Li Tiancai, taking him to the police substation. Mr. Li escaped from the substation once, but Diao Xisen chased him down and sent him to Tonghua County Detention Center, where he was detained for more than a month. Recently Mr. Li Tiancai was sentenced to18 months in Chaoyanggou Labor Camp.

On January 5, 2005, five to six people from Jiangdong Township, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, stormed into Mr. Yang Fujun's home without any legal procedure and ransacked the place. They handcuffed Mr. Yang with very small handcuffs that cut into his flesh and caused his arm to turn purple. Soon after his arrest, he was sent from the Township Police Substation directly to Chaoyanggou Labor Camp to serve a one-year term. He only stayed at the police substation for one or two days and it is unknown what kinds of tortures he endured. He used to be very strong and healthy, but the labor camp dared not to accept him due to his poor physical condition. Police told the labor camp that it would be responsible for anything that happened to him and forced the labor camp to accept him.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Guiyun from Malanzi Prefecture, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is in her fifties. She was arrested on January 12, 2005, when passing out truth clarifying materials and sent to Yaojia Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xuejun from Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is around 35 years old. He was sentenced to eight years in prison because he worked in a Falun Dafa materials production site. He is jailed in the Shenyang City No.2 Prison (formerly Dabei Prison), located inside the Masanjia Prison Block. He was tortured in a strict control ward especially established for Falun Dafa practitioners who refused to accept brainwashing. He was not allowed to be visited by his family.

On January 8, 2005, Yi County Police arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Guo Chunlu, an employee of the Yi County Power Company for passing out truth clarifying materials.

On January 8, 2005, Yi County police arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Guo Guixiang from Yi County and sent her to Masanjia Labor Camp to serve a two-year term.

In December 2004, Yi County police arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhang Bao and his wife Chen Shuhua from Matun Village in Qianyang Township, Yi County, Jinzhou City, and sent them to a labor camp.

Falun Dafa practitioner Hong Haihua from Shadui, Tongcheng City, Xianning Prefecture, Hubei Province, was sentenced to three years in a labor camp and sent away secretly on January 15, 2005.

Director Gu Fanghua of the Lizhou Town Police Substation arrested and detained Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Xiaofang, who is employed by the Xichang City No. 410 Factory. She had been home for less than one month when Xichang City police and the 610 Office tricked her into leaving her house, arrested her, took her to the Tuohuang Detention Center, and then sentenced her to 18 months in a labor camp. On her Labor Camp Sentencing Statement, there is no public seal, no term specified, not even the labor camp name.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Lan is 31 years old. She had to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being arrested at home in September 2001. She was arrested in Beijing at the end of October 2002, sentenced to prison, and jailed in the Wuhan City Women s Prison, 81 Baofeng Street, Qiaokou District, Wuhan City, where she is currently being held. By the end of October 2004, she went on hunger strikes three times. She is now locked in a small cell along with monitors in the No. 4 Ward. Police have sealed all information about her. Her family saw her recently, and she is only skin and bones. She is totally disfigured. There are bloody marks at both corners of her mouth caused by force-feeding, and she is having difficulty walking.

On November 20, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xie Mingzhu, a graduate student at the Chengdu City Traditional Medicine Institute, was reported for passing out truth clarifying materials on campus and arrested by police. Police ransacked her dorm room, took away her Falun Dafa books, her computer, CD burner, and more than a hundred CD s. The Institute Principal Liu (male) and Party Secretary Zhang (female) immediately held a meeting on campus, declaring that students are forbidden to practice Falun Dafa.
