63-year-old Dafa Practitioner Wang Guangzhi Was Persecuted to Death in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province


(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Guangzhi, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, was illegally sentenced to two years imprisonment. He was persecuted to the verge of death before being sent home. Mr. Wang passed away in October 2004.

Wang Guangzhi, 63 years old, was an assistant at a Falun Gong practice site before July 20, 1999, when Jiang's regime started to slander and persecute Falun Dafa. In order to validate Falun Dafa, Wang Guangzhi used all kinds of methods to clarify the truth to people.

In 2001, policemen found Wang Guangzhi's letters in which he clarified the truth about Falun Gong. His home was ransacked immediately, and he was arrested. Mr. Wang was taken to Jingu Restaurant in Yanbian County. The police brutally beat him and hung him up for three days and three nights. Meanwhile, they put Teacher's photo under his feet as a great sign of disrespect and to torment Mr. Wang further.

Wang Guangzhi went on a hunger strike for 38 days to protest the illegal detention and abuse. The police force-fed him, causing his teeth to become loose. Wang Guangzhi was sentenced to two years in prison. He was persecuted to the verge of death before being sent home, where he continued to be monitored. Wang Guangzhi passed away in October 2004.
