(Clearwisdom.net) Over the last five years, ever since Jiang Zemin launched the persecution against Falun Gong, practitioners have been at the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg appealing for an end to the suffering of the innocent people who practice Falun Gong in China. In an attempt to conceal their violations of human rights and of China's own constitution, the consulate has now taken action to limit practitioners' appeals by putting pressure on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Police Department in Gothenburg. However, practitioners have received support from politicians and the media, who published several supportive articles exposing the Chinese Communist regime's attempts to deny people their fundamental human rights.

The following are some episodes from the practitioners' appeal, an appeal that has touched many people and won their support:

Chinese Consulate Staff are Worried that the Crimes of the Jiang Regime will be Exposed

Practitioners approach people who are on their way to the consulate and ask if they would like to accept information about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. Many of them gratefully accept the information. One day, staff from the consulate came out and claimed that it is not allowed for anyone to stand there. The practitioners explained that their actions are in accordance with Swedish law and that everyone has a perfect right to stand there. Another person came out of the consulate and took photos of the practitioners. After a while, several more people came out, grabbed the arms of a practitioner and tried to force him to leave. The communist regime is very worried, as more people all over the world find out about their crimes against humanity. The practitioners hope that the consulate staff can think carefully and not continue to blindly follow the orders of Jiang Zemin in persecuting Falun Gong.

Those who work near the consulate or who often pass by can't help but notice the practitioners who peacefully appeal for justice. Near to the consulate there is a café. When practitioners go there, the staff are very friendly. One of the staff explained to her friend about the practitioners' activities outside the Chinese consulate and expressed her support. A woman at the café said that she dearly wanted to learn the exercises and was pleased when one of the practitioners offered to teach her.

Some retired people feel that Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are right

A practitioner told some retired people how Falun Gong practitioners in China are being persecuted because they follow the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. They immediately understood that Falun Gong is a peaceful cultivation practice and thought that it was unbelievable that people could be persecuted for something so peaceful and beneficial. Before leaving, they said, "We really hope that you continue to freely believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

A woman gives practitioners some precious advice

A young woman discussed with a practitioner about the incidents at the Chinese consulate. After having received information about Falun Gong and the persecution, she said, "You should not give up!" Then she asked, "Do you collect signatures?" The practitioner was happy for the advice and was pleased that the woman wanted to sign the petition and stand up for those who are being wrongly persecuted.
