The Primary and Deputy Party Secretaries of Xihua County, Henan Province, Receive Karmic Retribution for Their Crimes Against Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Luan Weidong and Li Laian were Xihua County Primary and Deputy Party Secretaries in Henan Province. They have been actively following Jiang's regime in brutally persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in the county for many years. They have also arrested many practitioners who came to Xihua from other places to distribute truth-clarifying materials, and sent them to forced labor camps.

Shortly after January 1, 2005, Li Laian was arrested for crimes of corruption. Luan Weidong escaped after learning the news. No one knows where he is.

Zhang Tainhong, about forty years old, was the former police chief in Yaodu Area, Linfen City, Shanxi Province. He has been following Jiang Zemin's regime to fiercely persecute Dafa practitioners for many years. In the Yaodu Area, five practitioners were persecuted to death, ten were sentenced to prison, more than sixty practitioners were arrested, and an unknown amount of money was illegally confiscated from practitioners and their family members. Zhang Tainhong committed unforgivable crimes against Dafa. He was sent to jail in October 2004 due to crimes of corruption.

Li Shengxin was the former deputy police chief of Xuanhua County, Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. He has been actively participating in persecuting Dafa practitioners since 2000. He has illegally arrested more than ten practitioners in Xuanhua County. He persecuted them viciously and beat them at will.

Li Shengxin was about forty years old and appeared to be in good health. However, he was diagnosed with stomach cancer in the winter of 2003. He received treatment in a hospital in Beijing, and died in early June 2004, after suffering in pain for more than half a year.
