Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Jinhua, a Resident of Wuqing District, Tianjin City, Died as a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Liu Jinhua, 57, was a resident of Tianshuibao Village, Daliang Town, Wuqing District, Tianjin City. Before he practiced Falun Gong, he suffered from many diseases such as diabetes and liver cirrhosis. All of his diseases disappeared after he started practicing cultivation.

After July 20, 1999, because he wrote "Falun Dafa is good" on an utility pole to clarify the truth, the persecutors sentenced him to three years of forced labor. During his detention in a forced labor camp, Mr. Liu suffered a relapse of his old diseases. As a result, he was released. After returning home, Mr. Liu studied the Fa and practiced the exercises, and his diseases again disappeared.

Persecutors at the local police station harassed him at his home many times. In January 2004, they confiscated Mr. Liu's cassette tape player and audiotapes of Teacher's lectures, and the next day they searched his home for Falun Dafa books, but found nothing. Mr. Liu Jinhua nonetheless died on February 7, 2005 resulting from harassment and persecution he was subjected to while detained..

According to another report, a 58-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Ma Dexuan (also from Wuqing District), was tortured and became handicapped in Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp, Qingwawa Forced Labor Camp, and Ji County Forced Labor Camp. In March 2003, Mr. Ma was again arrested, shackled, and taken to a forced labor camp. A few days later, Mr. Ma Dexuan was tortured to death.

According to incomplete statistics, at least 21 Falun Dafa practitioners in Tianjin City have died as a result of the persecution.
