Elementary School Teacher Luo Qiaohong from Jiahe County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province Died in 2001 as a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) In 2001, Ms. Luo Qiaohong, an elementary school teacher from Jiahe County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province was harassed and tortured by local officials until she died.

Ms. Luo Qiaohong was a teacher at the Shitang Elementary School in Jiahe County, Chenzhou City. She started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1998, went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa in 2001, and returned home safely. One day, Wang Shuiqing, a member of the local "610 Office", and others broke into her home in the middle of the night and abducted her, leaving her two-year-old child and mother-in-law behind. The authorities detained her in another town for several months. By the time she was released, her mental stability had been compromised by the abuse she'd suffered, yet she was still constantly harassed. She died suddenly two months later, when she was only 24 years old. The government agents forced her husband to say that she had died of illness. Soon thereafter, her husband was sentenced to time in a labor camp.
