Innocent Mind of a Child: "Being Strict With Ourselves"

(Clearwisdom.net) Lead by our grade school teacher, my classmates and I became young Falun Dafa disciples. We have benefited a lot from our cultivation. Now, I would like to share some stories about my cultivation.

Experience 1: "Truthfulness, Comparison, and Forbearance" makes me a good child

No matter what we do, we have to strictly control ourselves in order to cultivate our xinxing. With this concept in mind and when we applied it to our daily lives, we became good children and receive lots of praise. Through cultivating our xinxing, we received praise, so didn't we gain in two ways at the same time?

Before, I was a student of another school. I was so bad that my old teacher decided to ignore me. Before the end of that semester, I was transferred to another school. My new teacher was very compassionate towards me. In order to teach me to be a good child, my teacher paid special attention to me. Whenever I would act inappropriately , my teacher always used the principle of the universe, "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" to correct me and told me to be strict with myself. I was moved by my teacher's compassion and started to improve my behavior and learning. Because of this, I would proudly graduate from grade school later. I still remember clearly what I gained from Falun Dafa and my teacher.

If you strictly control yourself, no matter who you are, you will gain respect from others, and other people will change their thoughts about that person.

Experience 2: "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" makes me a child who likes to read

No matter where I am, and at all times, I follow "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" to lead my life. From the fifth grade on, I began to study harder and liked to read more. After I learned Falun Dafa, I usually studied earnestly and made better grades. I will not put my hands down when I feel sore during the standing exercise or put my legs down during the sitting exercise. I lead my life according to "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance", and because of that, my life is smoother and more meaningful than before.

Experience 3: "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" make me a responsible child

Falun Dafa teaches us to cultivate by looking inward and examining our own xinxing for the cause of any conflict. Therefore, I am strict with myself and do my best when taking care of my responsibilities.

For example, there was a situation when I did not want to complete my homework. After arriving at school, I still was not willing to do it. However, after I thought about being strict with myself, I started to work on my homework and turned it in to my teacher on time. We should all be responsible for our behavior and not let other people suffer from our poor behavior.

Experience 4: "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" cured my forgetful problem

No matter where we are, we should follow the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance". We should mind our speech and not use vulgar language. For example, if someone hits us or blames us for something, we should not fight back, otherwise, we would not be displaying the behavior of cultivator.

Before I learned the Fa, I would often forget the things that I needed to bring to school. Therefore, I was often punished. I knew that this was bad and wanted to change it. However, it was very difficult for me to change it until I was in the fifth grade.

After I learned Dafa in the fifth grade, the problem of my forgetting to bring my homework to school was greatly reduced, and later totally gone. Ever since I learned the Fa, I have been strict with myself. For example, I would check if I put the homework that our teacher gave us into my backpack before school ended. I would also check if I put all the necessary things into my backpack before going to bed. I would like to thank our Master, Mr. Li Hongzhi, because Dafa changed me completely. In addition, I hope that all the people who have not yet learned Dafa could do so as soon as possible, because Falun Dafa is very good, and this is a rare opportunity!
