(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Li Ruilan, 65 years old, was a retired official of Zhongyi Hospital in Macheng City, Hubei Province. She suffered many kinds of illnesses before she started practicing Falun Gong. After she started practicing Falun Gong, all her illnesses went away.

Her daughter and son-in-law were forced into brainwashing classes many times because they practice Falun Gong (her son-in-law was illegally sentenced to eight years last year, and is incarcerated in Qinduankou Prison in Wuhan City). After her daughter and son-in-law were arrested, Li Ruilan and her nephew, who could not look after himself, were left at home. The police frequently searched their home and threatened and harassed her, which caused Ms. Li tremendous physical and mental trauma. She died on August 1, 2001.
