On March 4, 2004, Ms. Zhang Xiaomin, 40, from Suizhong County, was arrested by Ren Zhanyi and three police officers from the Political Security Section. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her TV. Zhang Xiaomin was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Recently, we learned that she is being held in a small persecution cell, and that she is holding a hunger strike to protest the detention.

Ms. Yuan Shufang, a resident of Lushuihe Township, Fusong Conuty, Jilin Province, was sentenced to the No. 4 Group of the No. 4 Team, at Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp, for practicing Falun Gong. Yuan Shufang is on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

On February 22, 2005, Ms. Jia Xiufang and Ms. Jia Jun from Jinan City were arrested by the 610 Office of Licheng Public Security Bureau in Jinan City. During the detention, Jia Jun clarified the truth with righteous thoughts, and later she was released, as she had a baby to nurse. Jia Xiufang was forcibly sent to Jianan City Brainwashing Class for persecution.

Ms. Cui Hong, 38, is an employee of Tourist Vocational High School in Xicheng District, Beijing. She was arrested on January 31, 2005, and is now detained at Xicheng District Detention Center.

Ms. Yang Zhifang from Dianbai County was arrested on January 30, 2005. On February 17, 2005, Ms. Wang Aiwen was arrested when she was clarifying the truth in Dajie Township. Her husband is ill and her young child needs to be taken care of.

On January 30, 2005, Ms. Lin Yanmei was arrested and secretly sentenced to three years of forced labor, and sent to Guangdong Sanshui Forced Labor camp for persecution.

Ms. Wu Silan, 65, from Hubei Province, was arrested by the police from Wuchang Public Security Bureau when she was clarifying the truth in Wuchang Mall of Hubei Province on February 20, 2005. On February 21, the police from Baishazhou Police Station ransacked her home and forcibly sent her to Yangyuan Brainwashing Class for further persecution.

On February 23, 2005, at about 11:00 p.m., Ms. Liu Xianheng, Ms. Su Chengmei, and Ms. Ren Yanqin, from Wuan City, Hebei Province, were arrested by the local police along with Section 1 of the City Public Security Bureau, and their homes were also ransacked.

Liu Yu, from Baichengzi, Jilin Province, was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials in January 2003. He was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment and detained in the Hulan Prison of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. Six months ago, Liu Yu was infected with pulmonary tuberculosis and he wasn't given any treatment. His family wasn't informed until he was close to death.

On the night of February 20, 2005, Ms. Peng Zuyin and Doctor Zhao from Jinzhou City were arrested by the Libu Police Station while they were printing truth-clarifying materials.

Mr. Zhang Jinghua, 60, was arrested in January, 2002 for practicing Falun Gong, and sentenced to three years of forced labor. During the detention, he nearly lost his eyesight, and he could not move his legs due to the torture to which he was subjected. After being released, his health recovered slightly. Recently, he was arrested again. Mr. Zhang Yu, the son of Zhang Jinghua, is also a Dafa practitioner. He was sentenced to seven years imprisonment and is now detained at Shenyang Prison.

On January 12, 2005, Ms. Li Xueyuan and Ms. Ai Xiuwen from Hada Village were arrested by Nangang Public Security Bureau. Li Xueyaun was sentenced to one year of forced labor, and Ai Xiuwen was sentenced to three years of forced labor. Li Xueyuan has a one-year-old baby at home. Before being arrested, Ai Xiuwen lived with her 82-year-old mother in Hongqi District.

Ms. Lu Hongwei, 43, is a resident of Wongniuteqi of Chifeng City. Because she recited Hong Yin to the students, she was reported by the student's parents (Lu Hongwei's job is cooking for students), and arrested by the police from Wongqi National Security Team in January 2005. Around the Spring Festival 2005, Lu Hongwei was sent to Chifeng City Songshan District Detention Center and Hongshan District Detention Center successively, and was rejected by both of them. After the Spring Festival, Lu Hongwei was sent back to Wongqi Detention Center. During the detention, Lu Hongwei went on a hunger strike to protest, and was thus persecuted by force-feeding. Around the middle of February, the police tried to sentence her to forced labor. Lu Hongwei suffered persecution in Tumuji Forced Labor camp of Inner Mongolia, where her two front teeth were pried out due to resisting the force-feeding.

On the morning of February 24, 2005, Mr. Li Zhenzhong and Xiao Fen, from Yongnian County, Hebei Province, were taken from their home. A fellow practitioner, nicked name Tang Feng was also arrested.

Liu Jingsong, an employee of Changchun Automobile Factory, was arrested by police on February 22, and detained in No.2 Detention Center.

Jin Jiyan, from Panjin City, Liaoning Province, was arrested on April 2, 2004. He was sentenced to forced labor and detained in the No. 2 Team of Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp. Jin Jiyan is suffering from numbness in half of his body and from pain in his feet.
