Mr. Lu Weiqi from Jilin Province and Ms. Han Xiangying from Hebei Province Died As a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Lu Weiqi was a sixty four year old Falun Dafa practitioner from Changchun City, Jilin Province. He went to Beijing to validate the Fa at the beginning of 2000, was expelled from the Chinese Communist Party, and humiliated publicly in the city. Ever since then, the neighborhood administration, police substation, and his employer harassed him at home, causing him great mental pressure, which led to physical distress. He went to Beijing again in October 2000, and died while traveling.

Ms. Han Xiangying was fifty-five years old, and lived in North City Garden, Fuping County, Hebei Province. She began practicing Falun Dafa in 1995. In March 2001, she was arrested while posting banners that clarified the truth of Falun Dafa. The Fuping County Police Station Political Security Officer, Ma Baozhong (male), sent her to the county detention center, where she was detained one month. Five thousand five hundred yuan were extorted from her. Later, she was taken to a brainwashing class held by the county 610 Office and tortured both mentally and physically. Her family became fearful because of the effects of the torture and watched her very closely. She died on March 5, 2005 from an apparent stroke.
