(Clearwisdom.net) In the winter of 2000, I once rode my bicycle to a place a few kilometers away to distribute truth clarifying materials. I put up a poster on a lamppost along the periphery of a village. I rode a few feet ahead and turned my head to see that an elderly man with a bicycle was reading the poster with complete concentration. I continued riding for a while. Then I heard someone calling out from behind me, "Young man! Wait for me!" I turned my head and saw the man who had read the poster hurrying toward me on his bicycle. I smiled and asked, "Uncle, is there anything I can do for you?" The elderly man said, "Do you still have the posters here with you? If you do, give me one, please." At that time it was not easy to get truth clarifying materials, thus, in order to let more people know the truth, I usually only put them up as posters and did not distribute them freely. However, since he requested one, I gave him a copy.

As we were riding our bicycles shoulder-to-shoulder the elderly man said, "What is written on the poster is really true; even if one dies an unjust death, there is no place to appeal."

A natural rapport built between us as we chatted while riding alongside one another. The man said, "Let's go, young man! Let's go to my village. The two of us can distribute the truth clarifying materials together." I said, "Thank you uncle, but I have already posted all the materials I had. I have to go home now."

The old man and I separated and went on our way. He still turned his head and waved goodbye when he had rode very far away. At that moment I was very touched by the kindness of this elderly man.
