1. [Baochang City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Practitioner Zhang Junqing Detained in the Wuyuan Forced Labor Camp
On February 5, 2005, personnel from the Xi Prefecture arrested Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Junqing and incarcerated him in the Wuyuan Detention Center.
His mother Ms. Liu Renxian was detained in Huhehaote City in January 2005 when she visited Duan Songping, her daughter-in-law.
2. [Shanghai] Practitioner Xiong Wenqi Has Been Tied to a Bed For Nearly a Year
Falun Gong practitioner Xiong Wenqi has always staged hunger strikes to protest torture; however, the police tied him to a bed for almost a year.
3. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Zhang Xiaohong Arrested for Posting Truth-Clarifying Signs
During the night of September 9, 2004, personnel from Tacheng Township Police Precinct in Nanchang County arrested practitioner Ms. Tu Puxiang (59 years old), Ms. Wang Chouhua (66 years old), and Ms. Zhang Xiaohong (45 years old) when the practitioners were posted truth-clarifying signs at Tacheng Township. The practitioners were detained at Nanchang County's No.1 Detention Center and their homes were ransacked. Tu Puxiang was fined 10, 000 yuan and released afterwards. Zhang Xiaohong has been held at the detention center almost half a year, but even police officers who arrested her were not permitted to visit her.

4. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Police Force Practitioners Wu Zhong'an and His Wife to Leave Their Home
On December 30, 2004, practitioners Wu Zhong'an and his wife were deprived of freedom at Nanchang County Detention Center. Nanchang County authorities fined the couple 5,000 yuan and ordered them to leave Nanchang County; otherwise, the couple would have to report to the Xiangtang Police Station twice a day. The couple had to go to their daughter's home outside of the county.

5. [Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province] Yuan Chunying Arrested for Displaying a Sign on Her Wall that Reads "Falun Dafa is Great"
On January 22, 2005, personnel from the Dutou Township Police Station broke into practitioner Ms. Yuan Chunying's home and ransacked her place. They didn't find anything, but in the end they took Yuan Chunying away, saying she has a sign on her wall that reads "Falun Dafa is Great." An older male practitioner happened to be visiting her at the time and was also arrested. They are both held in the Nanchang County Detention Center.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Liu Wen is Held at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp
According to Liu Wen's family members, Liu Wen was gravely ill in December 2004. They went to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp and requested to bail him out for hospitalization. Personnel from the labor camp let Liu Wen go to Changchun City's Tuberculosis Hospital, together with his family members and officials from his work unit. Later they went through certain bail-out-for-hospitalization procedures and told the family members to pick Liu Wen up once the application was approved. The family members have already waited for over two months, but haven't heard from them yet. They called the labor camp numerous times, and they were told each time the application had not yet been approved.
On February 3, 2005, the family members went to the labor camp again and saw that Liu Wen had become severely emaciated and was so weak he trembled while walking. The family members questioned the labor camp personnel, "You have tortured him so badly, and yet you still don't let him go. Why?" The family members had contacted Zhang, chief of Forced Labor Camp Division, Changchun City's Judicial Bureau, many times and asked him to release Liu Wen, whose life is in great danger. Zhang said, "We'd rather send him to a hospital than release him." Zhang Fengming, chief of Management Section, Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp, said, "You put our names on the Internet!" The family members told him they didn't know about that.
On February 18, the family members called the labor camp and inquired about Liu Wen. They were informed that on February 5, the labor camp sent the gravely ill Liu Wen to the Central Hospital, at Jilin Province's Prison Management Bureau. On February 25, the family members went to the Management Section of the labor camp and demanded section chief Zhang Fengming to let them visit Liu Wen. Zhang told them Liu Wen had been sent to a hospital. Then the family asked to see Liu Wen in the hospital. When the family members went to the hospital, the personnel there said they had to have proof from the labor camp they are authorized to visit Liu Wen. The family members then went back to Zhang Fengming for proof, but he said he was in a meeting and it was almost time to go home, so told them to come back next week.
Liu Wen's whereabouts are still unknown, and it is unknown whether or not he is still alive.
7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Xu Changlu Detained
On January 11, 2005, police from Changhai County arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Changlu from Shajian Village, Guanglu Township, Changhai County. Xu Changlu is still being held in Dachangshan. Right now he is staging a hunger strike to protest the persecution.
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Wang Jiakai Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials
Mr. Wang Jiakai, 40 years old, a resident of Dalian City, is a senior high school teacher. He was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials with fellow practitioners in the countryside. On January 22, 2005, personnel from Pulandian City Police Department arrested and put him in the Liujia Detention Center, Pulandian City. To date, he has not been released.

9. [Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province] Liao Yulan Deceived and Arrested
At the end of September 2004, personnel from the Linchuan District Police Department set a trap. They had the wife of the Liushuiqiao Police Station's administrator to pretend to want to learn Falun Dafa and deceived practitioner Liao Yulan into giving her a copy of the Minghui Weekly (collection of Minghui/Clearwisdom articles) and other materials. They then had policemen waiting in ambush arrest Liao Yulan. They arrested another 20 practitioners, ransacked their homes and confiscated a lot of Dafa books, materials, computers, printers and other belongings.
10. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Zhang Liyan Taken to the No. 2 Detention Center for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials
At 8:00 p.m. on February 24, 2005, eight or nine officers from the Gold Mine Police Station, including Liu Dan, arrested practitioner Zhang Liyan (also named Zhang Ling) from the Wulong Gold Mine, Zhen'an District, at home and took her to Dandong City's No. 2 Detention Center.

11. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Wang Genqun Arrested for Clarifying the Truth About Falun Gong
During the afternoon of February 8, 2005, practitioner Wang Genqun from Zhengzhou City, Henan Province went out to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. Afterwards, personnel from the city's Shifo Police Precinct arrested him and ransacked his home. Now Wang Genqun is being held at Zhongyuan District's Detention Center.
12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Schoolteacher Li Chunxiao Arrested for Accessing the Internet
Personnel from the Internet Surveillance Division in the Ganjingzi District arrested practitioner Li Chunxiao, a teacher at the No.21 Middle School in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. They ransacked Li's home when Li was accessing the Internet at home before the Chinese Lunar New Year. Li is currently being held at the city's Yaojia Detention Center, but no family visits are allowed.
13. [Beijing] Zhang Xinpu Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Xinpu from Laiguangying Township, the Chaoyang District in Beijing is a veteran, retired from the Artillery Research Institute. He was arrested when distributing truth-clarifying materials. He has been in custody for three months so far, but we have no news at all about his present circumstances.
14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Zhu Libo Forced to Live Away from Home Due to Persecution
Practitioner Mr. Zhu Libo is a taxi driver at the Xiangfang Experimental Farm, Xingfu Township, Xiangfang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. For clarifying the truth of Falun Gong, on the morning of February 28, 2005, several dozen personnel from the Daowai Police Department ransacked his home and confiscated five thousand yuan in cash and some truth-clarifying materials. The rented car was impounded. Zhu Libo left and had to live away from home; however, the police took his away parents, though they do not practice Falun Gong.
15. [Beijing] Liu Qinghua Taken Away by a Large Number of Policemen
Before the two conferences (the National People's Congress and People's Political Consultative Conference), the Beijing police wantonly arrested Falun Gong practitioners. On the afternoon of February 28, 2005, many policemen forcibly arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Qinghua from her home in a community in the Shangdi Economic Zone. Her two crying daughters were left at home. Her younger daughter was only one year old. Six other practitioners who had contact with her were arrested at the same time. The police confiscated her computer and some books, including the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
16. [Huaiji County, Guangdong Province] Nearly Ten Dafa Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor in the Last Few Years
In Huaiji County, nearly ten practitioners were sentenced to forced labor and one was sentenced to imprisonment. Chen Zhifang was sentenced to one year of forced labor; Chen Siguo - two years; Liang Guanghua - one year; Li Heyan - two years; Ma Weibiao, the first time for two years, the second time for six years. He is now being held in the Sihui Prison.

17. [Wu'an City, Hebei Province] Ren Yanqin and Other Practitioners Arrested
At midnight on February 22, 2005, personnel from the Criminal Team from Wu'an City's Police Department, Hebei Province forcibly took Ren Yanqin, Su Chengmei, and Liu Xianheng to the Criminal Team. No one knows their whereabouts. The police ransacked Ren's house and confiscated a fax and copy machine and some truth-clarifying materials.

18. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Zhang Suzhen Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials
On January 21, 2005, Dong Boyong, chief of Xiaoji Town's Police Precinct, the Fengnan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, arrested practitioner Zhang Suzhen and another practitioner who were distributing truth-clarifying materials at Daxinzhuang Town in the Fengnan District. Police took them into the precinct and beat them for a long time. Afterwards, police transferred them to the Fengnan Detention Center. Personnel from Fengnan's 610 Office interrogated them.

19. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mo Lina Escapes from the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp with the Power of Righteous Thoughts
In November 2004, local police arrested practitioner Ms. Mo Lina from Shenyang City and sent her directly into the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
Mo Lina didn't cooperate with the brainwashing nor put on the criminals' uniform at the camp. She persistently declared that sentencing her to forced labor was unconstitutional and illegal. On January 19, 2005, after two and a half months of torture in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, a hospital examination found Mo Lina to suffer from some severe illnesses, so the police officers from the No.3 Division at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp sent her home.
