Falun Gong practitioners tirelessly clarify the truth about Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) Bian Street is well known in Semarang, Indonesia as a place where many Chinese people live. During the recent Lunar Chinese New Year festivities, a local fair was held here. About a hundred booths were spread out along the long street, displaying a variety of goods related to the Lunar New Year.

There was a special booth that stood out. A brilliant banner reading "Falun Dafa is good" hung in the middle of the booth, and hundreds of photos reflecting the wide popularity of Falun Dafa around the world and in Indonesia were hung on walls. The photos included images of over a thousand awards and proclamations that Falun Dafa has received from around the world. There were also photos exposing the suffering of Falun Gong practitioners in China in the brutal persecution perpetrated by Jiang Zemin and his Communist regime. Simply because they persist in their cultivation, Falun Dafa practitioners are brutally persecuted, and many have been tortured to death. Those shocking stories were included in the truth clarification materials, and large amounts of materials were distributed to people interested in learning more about Falun Gong.

All day long, Falun Gong practitioners played videos about Falun Dafa's wide spread around the world, as well as Dafa's spread and development in Indonesia. People from throughout Indonesia have experienced improved health after practicing Falun Gong. Their words, together with Falun Gong books, and bookmarks made by practitioners, attracted many people's attention. Many people had already learned that Falun Gong is good and that it can improve people's health and upgrade their morality; therefore, as soon as they found the Falun Gong booth, they came to ask for truth clarification materials and inquire about local practice sites so that they could learn the exercises. Some people could not wait and learned the Falun Gong exercises on the spot. Many people heard the latest news about the situation of Falun Gong in China, and they showed concern over the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

As for people who had misunderstandings of Falun Gong, they asked questions around the lies and slander that Jiang's communist regime have concocted. Practitioners patiently answered their questions and explained to them that the former Chinese leader launched the systematic and brutal persecution using the whole nation's propaganda machinery, so as to forbid the Chinese people from following Falun Gong's teachings of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." As absurd as it sounds, in order to achieve this goal, Jiang has gone to extremes to concoct lies to frame and slander Falun Gong. He even fabricated the Tiananmen Square Self-immolation tragedy to incite people's hatred towards Falun Gong.

One visitor said, "Doesn't it mean that the nation conducts terrorism in order to suppress its people? Put plainly, isn't this state terrorism?"

One week after the fair, we have news from the Semarang practice site that the number of people who want to practice the exercises is soaring, several times higher than before.
