1. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Deqiong Held in a Detention Center
Ms. Xu Deqiong is from Danjingshan Town in Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province. Officials from the town's government, including Shen Shijian, Su Yunkai and Zhang Yuhai, coordinated with the Guankou Police Station and ransacked her home, extorted fines, and detained and cruelly tortured her. Ms. Xu was forced to leave town and go to Dujiangyan City to work odd jobs.
At around 9:00 p.m. on January 15, 2005, Ms. Xu was on her way to visit one of her younger sisters. She clarified the truth to people and was arrested by officers from the Taiping Street Police Station in Dujiangyan. The same night, Ms. Xu was sent back to the Danjingshan Town Police Station in Pengzhou City. Officials from Danjingshan government and officers from the police station jointly ransacked her home, but they failed to come up with anything related to Falun Gong.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Cui Hong from Xicheng District Held in Custody
At around 10:00 a.m. on January 31, 2005, Ms. Cui Hong from the Xicheng District in Beijing was arrested by officers from the Yuetan Police Station in the district while distributing truth-clarifying materials. At noon, the police ransacked her home. Presently Ms. Cui is being held at the Yuetan Police Station. The police notified her family to send in 200 yuan and clothes, but no visitation has been granted.
3. [Huzhou, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Li Jun and Others Persecuted for Practicing Falun Gong
Mr. Li Jun, Mr. Ji Jianwei, Mr. Shen Guigen, and Ms. Dai Jufen were abducted by the police to a brainwashing center for abuse after July 20, 2004. Mr. Li Jun and others later declared over the Internet that they would continue practicing Falun Gong. The police found out and forcibly sent them to the Shiliping Forced Labor Camp in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province. After Mr. Li was sent to forced labor, the police abducted his wife to the brainwashing center and then placed her under long-term surveillance.
4. [Yanshi City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhu Xianzhi Arrested and Put to Slave Labor
Ms. Zhu Xianzhi is from Yanshi City, Henan Province. On September 29, 2004, she was taken into custody at the Yanshi City Detention Center. She was forced to work 18 hours per day. She was whipped with leather strips and put into shackles (connected by a foot-long iron bar between the pair of ankle cuffs) for refusing to engage in slave labor. Ms. Zhu wore only a jacket when she was arrested. The officers still prohibit her from putting on a winter coat. Inmates in the same cell have been intimidated by the officers for, out of sympathy, putting a quilt on her back at night to keep her warm.
5. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Police Arrest Ms. Liang Chunmei
On January 15, 2005, Ms. Liang Chunmei, from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, went to the front gate of Haweisi Plaza in Jiamusi City to disseminate truth-clarifying materials. She was arrested by officers from the Xiangyang Police Station. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated all of her Falun Dafa books, Teacher's portrait, and 1,000 yuan in cash. Ms. Liang is being held in custody at the Jiamusi City Detention Center.

6. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Zihui and Others Arrested and Detained
Ms. Liang Zihui and Ms. Zhou Wen'e were arrested by officers from the Wushan Police Station while distributing truth-clarifying materials on January 24. The State Security Unit of the Tianhe Police Department ransacked their homes on the evening of January 26.
Mr. Zhang Zhongcheng and his wife from Guangzhou were arrested at their home on the morning of January 26, and the police took them into custody at the Fangcun Police Station.
