Solemn Declaration

I am 53 years old and used to suffer from numerous chronic illnesses. Long-term medical treatments failed to help me and I was often at the brink of death. I tried to kill myself several times to escape the pain.

In late December 1998, I obtained Dafa and all of my illnesses disappeared soon afterwards. I could do all kinds of manual labor; people who knew me said I became a completely different person. I didn't have to take a single pill after I obtained Dafa, and even my husband and son benefited tremendously. My family was very happy. Great Teacher gave me a second life; I cannot express my gratitude with words.

In order to validate Dafa and tell the people that Falun Dafa is good, I went to Beijing twice to appeal for Dafa. My home was subsequently ransacked and I was fined 3,000 yuan. I was illegally held for over 50 days. Later I was reported while distributing truth clarification materials. I was twice abducted from home and was detained three times for over 130 days altogether, all in violation of the Chinese constitution.

During the detention I held a hunger strike for nearly two weeks. The guards handcuffed me twice and force-fed me twice. They tied me to the Death Bed. I vomited and had blood in my stool because of the tortures I suffered. I was released after I lost consciousness and was rushed to a hospital emergency room.

I could only lie in bed after returning home. Officers from the National Security Bureau, the police department and the town and the village officials ransacked my home, sometimes in the day, sometimes at night. They ordered me to write a guarantee statement to give up Falun Dafa. People who spoke up for me were illegally arrested.

My family and I signed a document when I was released for the first and second time, but I refused to cooperate from then on. I solemnly declare that my family's and my signatures are completely void. From now on, I will do well with the three things Teacher has told us to do.
