Revealing the Persecution to Workers from Other Provinces

(Clearwisdom.net) In October 2004, I left my home in Hebei Province to work in Beijing. Before I went back home for the New Years' holiday, I was in Beijing for about 100 days. I thought I should use the time in Beijing to send forth righteous thoughts.

I went to a construction site owned by a person from Jiangsu province. Few there understood much about the persecution. I began telling those workers the truth about Falun Gong.

There were six people in my dorm. I tried to give them truth-clarifying materials, but was rejected. I warned myself not to be impatient. A Dafa practitioner should be a good person wherever he goes. A few days later, they approached me and I had the opportunity to tell them the truth.

I learned the lesson that the workers were not receptive if I distributed the truth-clarifying materials first, so I talked about it first. I then waited until they had some understanding before giving them the materials. I talked to each individual. I worked with a person for one or two days and then switched to another one. In a few days, I talked to over ten people and the result was pretty good. I realized that these people were supposed to hear the facts. Once a person understood the truth, I would find someone else to tell. I felt very happy and I showed my happiness. Then, I encountered some difficulties. I saw my attachment and the situation improved.

A brick fell and hit a worker in the nose. He went to the dorm for a break. I showed concern for him and also told him the truth about Falun Gong. I used that chance to talk to his roommates and people in another dorm, sixteen people in all.

The workers often switch jobs. The owner hired people as needed. Some would leave and a new group would come. They came from thousands of miles away. They all came for the truth. I would not miss a chance. Besides talking to them daily, when a group left I would go to their dorm to say goodbye and to tell them the facts, give them materials and ask them to remember, "Falun Dafa is good." Some said, "Thanks for taking so much trouble to let us know the truth about Falun Gong."

The personnel changed constantly. The people working there increased from one or two to five or six. At most there were over ten people. I understood that it was not accidental. I "clarified the truth" to them about Falun Gong. After clarifying the truth one day I went to another place the next day. Those who heard me would tell others in their dorm. Some who did not directly hear me would approach me to talk. I could tell how urgently they wanted the truth.

A person asked me, "Do you miss home?" I told him I missed home very much and that I would go home once I finished my task. They didn't know the real meaning of my sentence. In three months, I met groups from a few dozen to over a hundred. I welcomed them and told them the truth. I am happy that these people now know. During that time, nearly one thousand people directly or indirectly listened to me.

There was a residential complex near the work site. In the evenings I distributed two hundred flyers. Since I went to that area, I have not been able to forget them.

It was very tedious work. The workers would work hard when they saw the head man. Once he left, they would slack off. I thought that as a Dafa practitioner I should be a good person wherever I go. I ceaselessly clarified the truth to people. Some civilian workers said that I was silly and told me to work hard when the head man came and rest when he left. I did not listen to them. After a while, the head man also understood that I worked very hard. He also knew that I clarified the truth about Falun Gong to people and he did not say anything. Later on, I talked to him and he also understood. Towards the New Year holiday the civilian workers began leaving. The head man wouldn't let me go home. He let me go closer to the New Year. He told me to come back after the New Year. He wanted me to lead more people and promised to give me some easy work .

We worked for eleven hours each day. We went to work at six a.m., took an hour lunch break, and finished at seven p.m. I studied the Fa and did the exercises in the evening. Of the four times to send forth righteous thoughts, I could only do three. During the day, I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in Beijing. I felt very sad and lonely away from home and my fellow practitioners' group Fa study environment. Sometimes I was scared. However, once I thought about the people waiting for me to tell them the truth, I put my feelings aside.

This is my superficial personal experience. Please point out any mistakes. Beijing is a very special place. There are still many who do not know the truth. The environment is tough. I hope the practitioners in Beijing can hurry up and work on truth-clarification and saving sentient beings.
