I Live for Sentient Beings - Clarifying the Truth After a Snowstorm (Part II)

Later we arrived at a shop and saw more than a dozen people watching TV, huddled near a stove to stay warm. We started to clarify the truth while sending forth righteous thoughts. At first, no one wanted to listen. We did not give up, though, and continued to talk. Gradually, they began to ask questions. Their expressions became calmer and friendlier. A young man asked for a flyer. An old man said, "I have read Falun Gong books, very well written." A girl in her late teens was very upset at the beginning, but when a fellow practitioner asked her, "Do you feel that 'Truth-Compassion-Tolerance' is good?" She nodded, "Yes, it's good." "You were upset a while ago about us. Why did you change your opinion?" She answered, "I realized the truth after you told me about it. That's why I can now say it is good." Another man was very mean to us, but after we told him the truth, he sat down next to us and listened carefully. Soon, he completely realized the facts and commented, "The CCP is indeed a liar."

After we left the shop, we headed to different places to clarify the truth. Six people gathered under a work shelter. After we spoke, a woman was unwilling to listen. We told several touching stories, after which they all began to listen attentively. After they understood the facts, they said, "I had no idea that Falun Dafa is so good!" She then asked someone to bring warm water for us.

At another work shelter, a man asked, "Aren't you afraid of the police? Where do you live?" We told him, "We are doing good things for people. Even some police know that and they won't arrest us." After a while, the man said, "I want to read Falun Gong books and learn the practice." These people accepted the flyers with great respect.

We left the shelter and met with another practitioner. We were walking together toward home when we saw three sport utility vehicles parked with a dozen people standing nearby. Some of the people looked like business owners. Another group of people were working on something off the road. We began to send forth righteous thoughts. As we were approaching, a fellow practitioner started to distribute flyers while clarifying the truth to them. There was no fear in her voice. She was calm and natural; her language was full of wisdom. The people were very touched and showed respect. They asked, "You have a college degree, don't you? I guess you are a government official." She said, "I am nobody special. Because I practiced Falun Gong and became a better person, my employer fired me. The police ransacked my home many times. They spied on me and secretly took photos of me. They made fake ID's to steal 30,000 yuan from my bank account and they took 4,000 yuan from my home. They did all those things without following any due legal process." Her tones were soft and friendly, but the principles were firm and attention grabbing.

The fellow practitioner later said to us, "As long as we understand the Fa from the Fa's perspective, our capabilities are unlimited." I commented, "You are very brave." She said, "This was not difficult. I have spoken to many more people before. The more people listen, the braver I become."

When we completed talking to the last work shelter, the people there treated us like their family. We were touched by their sincerity and warmth. Just like Teacher wrote,

"Compassion can result in the spring of heaven and earth;
Righteous thoughts can save the people of the world"

It then turned dark. We could see lights reflected in the snow. Slowly we walked home. A few minutes later, a Jeep approached. After we waved, the car stopped. The driver invited the three of us to get into the car. On the way home, we clarified the truth to the driver. He was convinced and accepted a flyer and thanked us. We got out of the car and hurried to the place we were the day before. We had promised the people there that we would return. We handed out two VCD's and some flyers. We approached another work shelter that we missed the day before. When we got there, the only person still awake was the boss. He is about 40, a CCP member. His mandarin was very fluent. He was touched by our message and said, "To be honest, the CCP is now decayed. You are remarkable, delivering this precious material to us at night. Thanks a lot." I asked, "How many people work for you?" "Seven," he said. I pulled out all the cards in my pocket and counted, exactly seven. I handed all seven cards to him, "Please give one precious gift to each of your employees." By now, some employees were waking up. I said, "Sorry to disturb you." The boss saw us off hand waved good-bye.

As we were leaving, we heard the loud voice of the boss, "Falun Dafa is good!"

On our way home, a fellow practitioner said, "We were like on a sightseeing tour today." We all felt the same. I personally felt that if I had stayed at home to cultivate and never came out, I would be like a frog at the bottom of a deep well, only seeing a small part of the sky. I would have more attachments. Now we were going out to clarify the truth and save people, we felt the world was so huge and that our attachments had been removed. We could now really walk out of humanness. I live for other sentient beings. When I realized that it's Teacher who encouraged me to write this article, I could hardly control my tears.
