Northern Europe: Falun Gong Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 26, 2005, nearly 100 Falun Gong practitioners from northern Europe spent their Easter vacation at the Chinese Embassy in Sweden to call on the Chinese government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Although the ground is still covered by snow, practitioners silently called for an end to the persecution. They went to the Chinese Embassy to appeal, not for the sake of themselves, but instead, they wished to allow more people, including those who work for the Chinese Embassy, to learn about the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong. In doing so, practitioners hoped to end as soon as possible this persecution that is based on lies and that is sustained by means of threats and torture.

Since Falun Gong was introduced to the public in May 1992, hundreds of millions of people have had their physical and mental health improved and their moral standard upgraded in the process of cultivating themselves according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. This has brought society a new hope and a vital force. However, out of his jealousy of the great popularity of Falun Gong, Jiang Zemin outrageously launched the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. In order to justify the suppression, Jiang and the Chinese Communist Party use each other to employ the entire national media to deliberately fabricate lies and defame Falun Gong and mislead public opinion. Under the cover of deceit, Jiang and the Communist regime have violently persecuted and even killed Falun Gong practitioners over the past five plus years. The brutal persecution has spread throughout China.

However, deceit will never last long. Through the persistent truth-clarification by Falun Gong practitioners inside and outside China, one after another, the lies are being revealed. People start pondering after learning the shocking facts. In particular, people in the West, after they learn that the Jiang faction has abused the nation's laws and controlled the media to trample on the human rights of its own citizens, have started strongly condemning Jiang's regime. They are reaching out their helping hands to support Falun Gong practitioners.

Through constant contact with Falun Gong practitioners and learning about the truth of Falun Gong, people see more and more clearly the evil nature of Jiang's faction. At present, Falun Gong has taken root in the hearts of more than 100 million people of different nationalities in more than 60 countries over the world.
