We have heard recently that the Haidian District Court has sentenced Falun Gong practitioner Tan Huan. Without presenting any evidence (they just said "someone witnessed Tan Huan distributing information about Falun Dafa," but the witness was not present), they sentenced Tan Huan to nine years of imprisonment.

By the end of January 2003, practitioner Wang Guoying was arrested in Fushun City. The practitioner's family members tried to visit him/her several times at the Fushun City Prison but were refused. Currently Wang Guoying's whereabouts are unknown.

In July 2004, Fushun City police arrested practitioner Ms. Dong Haibo. Dong Haibo's husband is also a practitioner. He was sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment in February 2000 and is being held at the Fushun City Prison. Their child is now with grandparents in the countryside, and they are leading a difficult life. Dong Haibo's family members went to Fushun City Prison several times but were not allowed to visit with him.

This year, Dong Haibo has supposedly been transferred to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp; however, the family members are still deprived of visitation rights. Her family member have not been able to see her for nearly a year.

On March 5, 2005, practitioner Sun Qinghe went to take care of a fellow practitioner and all of a sudden some police from the Songlin Police Station broke in and took him away. He was released an hour later. On the morning of March 7, Sun Qinghe went to Songlin Police Station to get his cell phone and I.D. back, and the police tried to force him to write a so-called Guarantee Statement. Sun Qinghe refused, and was taken to Jiamusi City Detention Center.

On December 12, 2004, practitioners Ms. Zhang Ai'rong, Ms. Li Xiu'e, and Ms. Yuan Yongfang from Yangkou Town clarified the truth of Falun Dafa to some people in the Donggang District, Yangkou Town. Yang Wenling, head of the local No. 3 Street Administrative Committee spotted them and reported them to police. Later, officers from the Yangkou Town Police Department arrested the three practitioners.

Ever since July 20, 1999, when Jiang's regime started to persecute Dafa and Dafa practitioners, Yang Wenling has been urging people to destroy truth-clarifying flyers and signs and slandering Dafa and Dafa practitioners.

Practitioners Han Naixiu, Zhang Shuyun, Zhang Weixia and Zhang Shuzhi from Daqing City are still being held at a detention center. An Senbiao and two other practitioners who were sent to Daqing Forced Labor Camp were transferred to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp on March 15 for further torture. An Senbiao has been in a coma due to a hunger strike.

During the night on October 29, 2004, Zhu Zhiguo and two other officers from the Dongfeng Police Precinct, the Mudanjiang City Mine, staked out practitioner Ms. Fu Yaxian's home. They arrested Fu Yaxian and her husband the next morning. Her husband was later released, but Fu Yaxian remained in custody in the city's Xinglong Detention Center. We have heard that she was sentenced to eight years. She is still in the detention center.

On the morning of March 8, 2005, practitioner Ms. Zhao Yunyan and her family had not yet gotten up when officer Sun Liwei and some other policemen from the Qianjin Police Precinct from the Mudanjiang City Railway Administration broke into her home, ransacked it and then arrested her. At first, they claimed they would bring Zhao to the police precinct "for a talk," but after arriving at the police precinct, personnel from Mudanjiang City's Police Department took Zhao back home and ransacked her house again. The third day they put Zhao Yunyan in the city's Xinglong Detention Center.

At around 2:00 p.m. on March 8, 2005, four people from the National Security Section of the police department in the city's Railway Administration Bureau, the Wuxing Police Precinct chief, and three other police officers deceived practitioner Ms. Ren Yanjie's brother-in-law into leading them to Ren Yanjie's home. They arrested Ren Yanjie and then ransacked her home. At present, Ren Yanjie is being held in the Railway Administration Bureau Detention Center.

At 4:00 a.m. on February 2, 2005, police arrested practitioner Mr. Wu Zhiyong and put him into a detention center. Though police found no evidence, they sentenced Wu Zhiyong to two years of forced labor. On March 12, 2005, Wu was sent to a forced labor camp.

Li Xiuping was sentenced to 22 months of forced labor because police found several Falun Dafa amulets at Li's home. Li was sent to a force labor camp on March 12, 2005.

At about 9:00 a.m. on March 19, 2005, deputy chief Sun Jingfu from the Lishu County Police Department, Jilin Province ganged up with a dozen officers from Siping City Police Department. They used four cars and arrived at and broke into practitioner Ge Shubin's home. They searched everywhere, from the greenhouse to each corner in the house. They confiscated a large amount of Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials, weekly newsletters from the Minghui (Clearwisdom) and Zhengjian (Pureinsight) websites and other items. They robbed Ge Shubin's wife of the only 400 yuan cash they had. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Dong Zailin from Changsha City is 52 years old. After July 20, 1999 she was held in the Zhuzhou City's Baimalong Women's Forced Labor Camp. In early March 2005, she was arrested again when distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials at Wumei in Changsha City. Her whereabouts are unknown.

On February 21, 2005, police arrested practitioner Huang Qiumei from Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province without due cause. Now her whereabouts are unknown. Her family members dare not speak out due to police pressure, thus the details are unknown.

Practitioner Huang Qiumei, in her 70s, became healthy since she practiced Falun Dafa. After July 20, 1999 she went to appeal for Falun Gong and distributed truth-clarifying materials. She has been put into forced labor camps, detention centers and brainwashing classes. She has been arrested for at least five times.

Practitioner Ms. Li Yinzhi, 60 years old, lives on the 21^st floor at the dorm affiliated with the Hebei Daily Newspaper. At about 10:00 a.m. on March 15, 2005, policemen searched her home and confiscated all Falun Dafa materials, a printer and even her cell phone. We have heard that the policemen had arrived with a search warrant. Her friend then could not locate her.

Her friend went to the East Yuhua Street Police Precinct to find her, but failed. Precinct personnel said that the policemen in charge of the dorm had gone out to arrest Falun Gong practitioners and hadn't returned; so it was highly possible that Li Yinzhi has been arrested and taken to the Yuhua Police Precinct of Shijiazhuang City Police Department.

Practitioner Zhang Wenyou from Xingcheng City is an employee of the city's Labor Bureau. After Falun Gong was persecuted, Zhang Wenyou went to Beijing to appeal according to the law, but when he returned, he had to go into exile to avoid illegal arrest. He had to drive a tricycle-taxi to earn money. The National Security Team of Xingcheng City confiscated his tricycle and when Zhang Wenyou went to the police to retrieve it, they unlawfully arrested him. They sentenced him directly to three years of imprisonment at the Huludao City Forced Labor Camp. Currently, Zhang Wenyou has been tortured to the point of being extremely weak and cannot eat, but the police still refused to release him.

Practitioner Shi Zuosheng was persecuted to the point of being mentally traumatized at the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. Zhao Shuang, the No.5 Team head, told Shi Zuosheng's family to take him for a physical examination. He said that if the doctors diagnose him has having a mental breakdown, he would release Shi Zuosheng immediately. Shi Zuosheng's family soon took him for a checkup.

On March 10, 2005, a Falun Gong materials production center in the Hulan District, Harbin City was destroyed. Computers, printers and other equipment were confiscated and practitioners Li Min and spouse have been arrested.
