United Kingdom: People from the City of Canterbury Learn about Falun Dafa and Support Practitioners' Human Rights (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday the 9th of April, Dafa practitioners from Kent in the south of England held an event in the center of the historic city of Canterbury to promote the local Falun Dafa class and raise awareness of the ongoing persecution against the practice in China.

During the sunny afternoon, people showed their support for Falun Gong practitioners' human rights by signing a petition calling for former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin to be brought to justice through a court of law for his controlling role in the campaign of genocide that has been waged against Falun Gong for the last six years. A second petition called for the rescue of the family members of UK Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally imprisoned in China

A lot of passers-by stopped to read the banners and display boards and get a leaflet to find out more. A group of teenagers insisted on being taught Falun Gong's gentle exercises on the spot, while other people asked about the free class near the city center.
