By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) During the last Chinese New Year, my wife and I did our best to clarify the truth on the visit back to our hometown.

Upon arriving at our hometown, my nephews had someone pick us up and take us to a local restaurant, where a reservation had been made for two tables.

My nephews are government officials. One is a police official, another a bureau chief on the export committee, and the third is the district director. They all had positions of power and wealth, but they did not have good health. One nephew, who is in his sixties, has darkened skin and is completely bald. He is diabetic and has many dietary restrictions. They took a hard look at my wife and me. Although I am in my 80s and my wife is in her 70s, we still have black hair and look very healthy.

They asked about the secret to our health and youthful appearance. Before we could respond, my second nephew answered, "They are Falun Gong practitioners." My other nephew, who works at the Police Department, insisted on knowing our secret, and I thought this was good opportunity to clarify the truth about Falun Gong.

I told him, We Dafa practitioners are focused on improving our xinxing, for example not striking back when beaten and not swearing back when sworn at, thinking of others first, and being good people. We would not fight to gain a little personal benefit. The more our xinxing improves, the more we benefit in both body and mind. You could cure your diseases and become healthy, just like us. How could you imagine that those good people would be against the government? All we want to do is tell the government that Falun Gong is being unfairly persecuted. However, the government has said that Falun Gong has a political agenda."

When I answered their questions, my nephew, who works at the Police Department as a director, said, "With so many benefits, you should just practice at home!" I continued telling them about Falun Gong. One nephew came closer to me. While he was listening, he made a toast for a happy Chinese New Year. I was so happy and felt that they finally knew the truth about Falun Gong.

Several years ago, my nephews and their families did not want to know about the Jiang regime's lies. They were against the practice of Falun Gong, but now the situation is totally different. They were willing to learn the truth and tried to understand Dafa, especially the nephew, who is a Party Secretary and welcomed us the most. They all came and listened to the truth. I heard later that they tried to protect us in the background during our visit.

The next day, we went to look for Dafa practitioners in town. It just so happened that about 20 Dafa practitioners were gathered together. They exchanged materials on the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," and together they read Teacher's new articles and statement to withdraw from the Communist Youth League, which made a great impact. Many of them expressed their desire to withdraw from the Youth League, the Communist Party, and the other Communist-related organizations. They wanted to follow Teacher closely on the path of Fa-rectification. In the past, the local Dafa materials production site had been destroyed and practitioners were persecuted. During our visit, a new Dafa materials site was started, which ended the situation of my wife and me handling the material delivery and distribution. There is now a good environment for diligent cultivation and doing well the three things. On the path of Fa-rectification, our hometown's Dafa practitioners and my wife and I will continue to share our cultivation experiences and help each other do well the three things.
