Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qi Suchun from Beining City, Liaoning Province, was abducted in March 2001 and sent to the Zhaotun Town government building to undergo brainwashing. It was reported that she fell from the fourth floor of the government building and died upon impact.

Ms. Qi Suchun was 38 years old and had lived in Jinjia Village, Zhaotun Town, Beining City. During the 2001 Chinese New Year, when she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, police officers from Beining City forcibly took her home. The police extorted 10,000 yuan from her before releasing her.

During the two CCP conferences in March 2001, perpetrators from the Beining City 610 Office and the local government feared that Falun Gong practitioners would go to Beijing to appeal, so they abducted practitioners, including Ms. Qi, and sent them to the Zhaotun Town government for a brainwashing class. Ms. Qi Suchun refused to cooperate with the perpetrators and was slapped and kicked.

It was reported that she fell to her death from the fourth floor of the town building one night in March 2001. The true cause of the tragedy is unknown due to the information blockade.
