(Clearwisdom.net) In order to protest the persecution, five Falun Dafa practitioners imprisoned in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp have held hunger strikes. Some of them are still on strike. The practitioners are Ms. Zhu Suyun, Ms. Zhang Xiumin, Ms. Su Min, Ms. Fan Jinhua, and Ms. Geng Yulan. In response to their hunger strikes, the authorities at the camp put them into "small cells" and tortured them. The lives of all these practitioners are in grave danger.

Practitioner Ms. Zhu Suyun has gone on hunger strikes to protest the persecution ever since the authorities imprisoned her in the forced labor camp on May 28, 2004. She is currently locked up in a small cell and is in critical condition, but the guards continue to torture her everyday.

To protest the persecution, practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiumin refused to wear the prison uniform. She held hunger strikes and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" As a result, the authorities also locked her up in a small cell, tied her up in a chair, and brutally force-fed her once a day. Ms. Zhang now shows symptoms of heart problems and is currently in critical condition. Despite her precarious health, Officer Cui Hong continues to verbally abuse her everyday.

After holding a hunger strike to protest the persecution, practitioner Ms. Su Min suffered such brutal torture at the hands of local police that she could no longer bear it As a result, she cut herself and lost consciousness. When the hospital sent her back to the forced labor camp, the guards continued to brutally force-feed her. Even though Ms. Su is in grave condition, the authorities continue to persecute her.

Refusing to wear the prison uniform and protesting the persecution, practitioner Ms. Fan Jinhua is currently still holding a hunger strike. She continues to shout, "Falun Dafa is good!" Officer Huang Haiyan frequently swears at her. Once she tied up Ms. Fan and force-fed her. When Ms. Fan was shouting, "Falun Dafa is good," Officer Huang stuffed Ms. Fan's mouth with her socks. Because of the persecution, Ms. Fan is now nearly crippled.

On January 29, Ms. Geng Yulan, another practitioner in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, shouted, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is righteous! Stop the persecution! Stop the illegal imprisonment!" Three days later Chief Su Jing and the head of the first ward Wang Xiaofeng sent her to a small cell and locked her up for eleven days. To protest the authorities' brutality and to support Ms. Geng, many practitioners held hunger strikes, as well.

In February, Ms. Geng again shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" In retaliation, the authorities locked her up in a small cell for another eleven days in freezing conditions. After she was sent back to the regular cell, she had a fever of 103 degrees Fahrenheit and lay in bed for three days. On March 19, Ms. Geng again refused to wear the prison uniform. In fact, she practiced the Falun Dafa meditation. A few male guards were called in, and they carried her into a small cell. On the way there, Ms. Geng continued to shout, "Falun Dafa is good! Stop the persecution!" Frustrated by Ms. Geng's determination, guards often swear at and beat her. Ms. Geng is currently still locked up in the small cell and being persecuted.
