Practitioner Su Baolan from Anqiu City, Shandong Province Died from Persecution in 2001, Her Family Members Were Recently Arrested Again
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Su Baolan from Shirenpo
Village, Shidui Town, Anqiu City, Shandong Province died as a result of
persecution in October 2001 at 37 years of age. Her parents, Su Xiaoyou and Zhou
Shufen, and her younger sister, Su Baoli, were abducted on the morning of March
15, 2005, and their home was ransacked. They are currently being held at the
Anqiu Detention Center. On March 15, 2005, the Anqiu City Police Department mobilized police officers
in various townships to launch a mass arrest of Falun Gong practitioners.
According to a preliminary estimate, 17 practitioners were abducted. Su Xiaoyou and his wife, Zhou Shufen, both in their 60s, live in Xingshan
Village, Wangjiazhuangzi Town, Anqiu City. They both believe in
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The couple, together with their three
daughters, went to Beijing to validate Dafa in October 1999. For this they were
brutally persecuted at the hands of Cheng Shuping, the former head of the
Political and Security Section of Anqiu City Police Department, and Liu Jinlai
and Dong Shulin, deputy heads of the Political and Security Section of Anqiu
City Police Department. Others involved were police officer Li Shenghua, Han
Fuben, the head of Wangjiazhuangzi Town Police Station, Zhou Wenhe, the
Secretary of Wangjiazhuangzi Town Political and Judiciary Committee, and Su
Zhaosheng, Party Branch Secretary of Xingshan Village, and others. The
perpetrators pried open the door to the house and ransacked their home. They
took money, farming materials, and everything of value. They abducted, detained,
brainwashed, and savagely tortured the elderly couple numerous times. Xu Xiaoyou
was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor in October 2000. The
guards and inmates cruelly beat him and otherwise tortured him. His crop field
was confiscated by the village government and withheld from him for four years. Ms. Su Baoli, 27, was born in 1978. She lives in Gucheng Village,
Wangjiazhuangzi Town in Anqiu City. After July 20, 1999 she was abducted many
times by Han Fuben, head of the Wangjiazhuangzi Town Police Station, and by Li
Jingbo, deputy head of the Police Station, and others. She was held at the
police station. After her release she left her home to avoid further
persecution. In October 2002 she was abducted by seven police officers,
including Li Shenghua and Jia Zaijun, from a room rented by another
practitioner, and held at the Anqiu Detention Center for over 60 days. During
the detention, police extorted over 30,000 yuan from her family. In
the spring of 2003, Su Baoli was again abducted and detained twice. Su Baolan's second younger sister, Su Baoyun, 32, lives in Wangjiajingyang
Village, Zhaoge Town in Anqiu City. She was abducted many times by police
officers from the Zhaoge Town Police Station. She was held at the Police Station
for months at a time, during which time she was subjected to torture,
brainwashing and threats. In October 2000 she was sent to Jinan Women's Labor
Camp to serve three years of forced labor. Her five-year-old child was left at
home uncared for. After Su Baoyun was released from the labor camp she stopped
practicing Dafa for fear of further persecution. However, the perpetrators did
not stop persecuting her. On the morning of March 15, 2005, they ransacked her
home. Su Baolan persisted in her belief in Falun Dafa, and was detained many times
by the local police. Her husband whipped her at home with a belt. She, however,
treated people with compassion and forgiveness. In mid October 2001, Su Baolan's
husband forcibly sent her to a brainwashing class. Her body was found in a local
river in late October. The local police, the 610 Office, and her
husband remained silent about her death. Responsible work units and individuals: Anqiu City zip code: 262100 Anti-Falun Gong Division of Anqiu City Police Department in Weifang, Shandong
