Police from the Nanhualu Station arrested Mr. Zhao Zhai from Xinxiang County on February 9, 2005, Chinese New Year's Day. His whereabouts remain unknown.

Mr. Bao Jige was a resident of Dingzhuang Village, Beixiangyi Town, Chengan County, Handan City, Hebei Province. He became homeless due to the persecution. A villager reported him when he visited his home for the Chinese New Year's Day holiday. Qin Hebao, the deputy director of the Beixiangyixiang Police Station in Chengan County, led three police officers to his house, together with three other police officers led by the head Lian Rihong of the National Security Brigade of Chengan County. The officers arrested Bao Jige. Bao Jige is how being held at the Chengan County Detention Center.

Ms. Zhao Suyun from Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, was arrested before the New Year's Day holiday. Police confiscated many Falun Dafa books and a computer. She is now being held at the Dinglou Detention Center. Ms. He Yunping was also arrested. It has been reported that she was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp.

Ms. Zou Shuangfen, 49 years old, was a resident of Zoumaling, Dongxihu, Wuhan City. On March 10, 2004, a group of police officers broke into her home without a warrant, took her to the Sandian Brainwash Center and tortured her. Later, she was transferred to the First Detention Center of Wuhan City and held there for over nine months. Without following any legal procedures and without notifying her family, she was secretly sentenced to three years. Zou Shuangfen appealed the sentence and was denied.

During her detention, Zou Shuangfen went on a hunger strike to protest the brutal torture. Her teeth were pried loose and she became extremely frail. Zou Shuangfen is now being detained in the Baofenglu Women's Prison of Wuhan City for further persecution.

Ms. Zhu Fenglan is 55 years old. She lives at Xinyang Street, Luyuan District, Changchun City. She was a cleaning worker in the Jialin Supermarket. At 11 a.m. on March 4, 2005, Zhu Fenglan went to work. Police officers Zhang Liang and Qi Yunpeng, who usually participate in arresting practitioners, and another police officer arrested her in the supermarket. At 4 p.m., she was sent to the Daguang Detention Center of Changchun City and tortured. On March 6, her daughter went to see her, but was denied. Her daughter was even ordered to pay 150 yuan for her mother's meals.

Mr. Wan Chao is from Langjun Town, Yingcheng City, Hubei Province. At 2 p.m. on February 25, 2005, seven or eight police officers from the Langjun Town Police Station and the first branch of the National Security Brigade, Xiaogan City Police Bureau, led by the head of the Investigation Division, arrested him at his work place, the Qiuxu Elementary School. Ms. Tang Sulan was a student at the Sichuan Foreign Language College. She went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong in October 1999. Her brother Tang Jian was admitted as a Ph.D. student to Sichuan Petroleum College with excellent test scores in 1999 and was also hired by the college to teach. The college forced him to choose between his studies and his belief. Because he kept his belief, he was deprived of his right to pursue his Ph.D. Tang Sulan, Tang Jian, and their mother have all been illegally detained for practicing Falun Gong.

Their mother is detained in the 45^th Branch District of the the12^th Prison District in Longquanyi Prison, Chengdu City.

Tang Sulan is in the 44^th Branch District, the 16^th Prison District of the same prison.

Tang Jian is detained in the 4^th Prison District of Wumaping Prison, Muchuan County, Leshan City.

Mr. Du Hanwen was arrested on December 15, 2004 and detained illegally at the Jingkou Brainwashing Center. In February 2005, his mother suddenly fell into a coma and was hospitalized. The hospital issued a notice of life-threatening illness. In her semi-conscious state, she constantly murmured, "Why didn't Wen come to see me... when will he come home?"

Six practitioners from Weihai City were sentenced to the Wangcun Labor Camp for three years. Their names are:

Ms. Wang Yun, 43 years old, a resident of Dengjia Village, Boyu Town, Jing District;

Ms. Deng Chunling, 54 years old, a resident of Dengjia Village, Boyu Town, Jing District;
Mr. Huang Zhendong, 61 years old, a resident of Shuangsikuang, Wenquan Town, Huancui District.

The following four practitioners from Boyu Town in the Jing District of Weihai City were sentenced to Wangcun Labor Camp for two years:

Ms. Lin Caihong, 55 years old, a resident of Haixitou Village;
Ms. Zhang Jianhui, 59 years old, a resident of Haixitou Village;
Mr. Sun Maoyi, 62 years old, a resident of Haixitou Village;
Mr. Zhang Fushan, 56 years old, a resident of Zhenxiazhuang Village.

In addition, officials from the Weihai City Police Bureau and the 610 Office arrested Ms. Jiang Cuicui from Weihai City in her home at 8 a.m. on March 3, 2005. She was sent to a forced labor camp two days later.

At 7 p.m. on March 7, 2005, police from Ciyutuo Town arrested Mr. Li Zhong and Xiao Qiong in Shenyang City. Details of the incident are being investigated.

On July 12, 2004, Mr. Zhang Guangyuan and Mr. Xiong Qingguo from Huagai Village, Bolin Town, Jiangjin City, Chongqing City, distributed truth-clarification materials at the Guizhou crossroads. They were reported and arrested. They are being held and abused at the Jiangjin Detention Center.

On February 22, 2005, officers from the Mudanjiang Train Station Police Division and the Muling Town Police Station arrested Ms. Zhou Zhirong from Muling and ransacked her home.

On March 8, 2005, the Mudanjiang Train Station Division police arrested Ms. Yi Yanjie from Mudanjiang City and ransacked her home.

On March 8, 2005, the Jicheqianjin Police Station of Mudanjiang City arrested Ms. Zhao Yunyan from Mudanjiang City and ransacked her home twice.
