Falun Dafa Gives Leukemia Patients a Second Chance on Life

During the end of 2004 there were three leukemia patients being cared for in a room on the ninth floor of a cancer hospital in Dezhou City, Shandong Province. The patients' names are Fu Changyi of Huayuan Village in Wucheng County, Wang Hailiang of Xiaoxin Village, Dezhou City, and Mr. Shi of Xiajinsuliu Village. Fu Changyi is now 17 years old. On September 7, he was diagnosed with leukemia at a blood bank in Tianjin. After four months of medical treatment his hospital bill was 60,000 yuan. Even so, his condition got worse instead of better. Just when it looked like Fu Changyi was near death, a relative who had practiced Falun Gong for many years paid him a visit. The relative explained the facts about Falun Dafa to all the patients being cared for in Changyi's room, as well as the hospital staff. Three days later Fu Changyi was released from the hospital. His body had miraculously returned to normal. Wang Hailiang and Mr. Shi were also released soon after. These terminally ill patients personally experienced the miracle of Dafa. Fu Changyi can now perform the standing exercises.

The son of Zhao Yucheng, whose home is in Xiaodongwang Village, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, was just over two years old when he was diagnosed with leukemia at a hospital in Jinan. The doctor advised the parents at the time, "Even if you spent all of your savings, you still would not be able to cure him. Give up on the treatments and just have another child." Looking at their baby, the parents were heartbroken.

One day, a relative told Zhao Yucheng that Falun Dafa is really miraculous and that it could possibly save their child, so the parents borrowed a copy of Zhuan Falun from a family of Falun Dafa practitioners and read it to their child. They found it quite odd when every time they mentioned the phrase, "Falun Dafa is good," the child would immediately reply with, "is good." And every time the parents said, "Time for class," the child would immediately curl up in his mother's embrace and listen to his parents read Zhuan Falun. Now, the child has already regained his health. He is a very lively and lovely child. "Falun Dafa is good" and, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" are now murmured and talked about throughout the entire village. Every life in the village that is saveable now has an opportunity to enter the future.
