Radio Free Asia: Increasing Persecution of Jiang Renzheng by the CCP Shocks the German Public

(Clearwisdom.net) In Benxi, Liaoning Province, the persecution of Jiang Renzheng, a Falun Gong practitioner who was sent back to China from Germany, has increased again. Jiang Renzheng was taken away by the police on April 8 from his parents-in-laws' home in Shenyang and sent to a forced labor camp for three years the same day. He is now detained in Liaoning Benxi Forced Labor Camp. German media and human rights organizations are appealing to the whole society to pay attention to Jiang Renzheng family's fate. The following is an excerpt from a broadcast by Ra's special reporter Tina Yi:

Falun Gong practitioner Jiang Renzheng and his family went back to mainland China from Germany at the beginning of March. As soon as they arrived in Benxi, Liaoning, they suffered continuous persecution from the police and the national security department. From the information we received on Friday, the persecution has increased again. Ms Tang, who has been actively working on this issue, talked about the most recent situation to a reporter last week. The information that Jiang Renzheng has been detained and his family is not allowed to visit him shocked Germany's media and human rights organizations.

In a speech that the Prime Minister of Germany gave to the Parliament on Thursday, he stated that the present Chinese Government is not the same as the one in 1989. Many German media personnel and groups that were concerned about Jiang Renzheng noticed that Jiang suffered persecution simply because he practiced Falun Gong abroad. He did not do anything after he went back to China. Therefore, they requested that the German Government react more effectively to Jiang Renzheng's predicament.
