Mr. Hao Shouzhong and his Wife Ms. Chen Ruixue from Weifang City, Shandong Province, Persecuted to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners Mr. Hao Shouzhong and his wife Ms. Chen Ruixue were from Weifang City, Shandong Province. They started to practice Falun Gong in September 1997, and they became healthy physically and emotionally. After July 20, 1999, they were both harassed frequently and persecuted. Ms. Chen died on December 22, 2002, and Mr. Hao died on February 20, 2004.

Ms. Chen, 70, was from Qianzhang Village, Hanting County, Hanting District, Weifang City. Her husband Mr. Hao, 83, was a retired worker. After July 20, 1999, Jiang's faction started to persecute Falun Gong. Ms. Chen firmly believed in Falun Dafa and went to Beijing to validate the Fa several times. The police held her at the detention center every time she went there.

Over the past few years, the officials from the 610 Office and the police extorted more than 8,500 yuan from her family. They often harassed her and her husband and ransacked their home. When the so-called sensitive dates approached, the police came to interfere with their lives and monitored them very closely. Under this extreme pressure, Mr. Hao suffered tremendously both in body and mind, and his health deteriorated. After July 2002, his physical condition worsened and he gradually became paralyzed.

Ms. Chen suffered as much as Mr. Hao. In addition to that, she had to take care of him. She died on December 22, 2002.

Mr. Hao's health worsened after the death of his wife, and he died on February 20, 2004.
