Shi Fengyou from Zhangshi Education and Reformation Camp told Gao's parents that his camp did not take her. Soon after, Zhang Chen was moved out of Luxun Fine Arts College and sent to a less desirable work unit. Wei Ersheng continued to participate in the persecution of Falun Gong. He went to Longshan Labor Camp and shouted at Gao Rongrong, "Falun Gong practitioners overseas said I persecuted you. Did I persecute you?" He told policeman Wang Jing at Longshan Labor Camp that their company cannot take Gao Rongrong back and to keep her at the labor camp.

The Luxun Fine Arts College has also persecuted other Falun Gong practitioners. They have sent college students and graduate students to brainwashing classes and labor camps. An employee whose family name is Feng was removed from his position as a Department Head. He was sent to brainwashing classes several times. Luxun Fine Arts College employs temporary workers to monitor Falun Gong practitioners.
