Recent Arrests and Home-Ransacking in Tianjin, the Provinces of Shandong, Liaoning, Sichuan, Guangdong and Hubei

(Clearwisdom.net) The regime in China is again conducting large-scale arrests of Falun Gong practitioners. According to various sources, these arrests are nationwide and specifically target Falun Gong practitioners. This is the most widespread persecution since July 20, 1999. The CCP has again displayed its evil nature before the world. We learned recently that many practitioners in Shandong Province, Liaoning Province, Tianjin City, Sichuan Province, Guangdong Province and Hubei Province were arrested and had their homes ransacked.

Police arrested practitioner Chen Shihuan, his son and his sister Chen Shuhua in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province at work. Their homes were ransacked. The police confiscated the computer and other equipment, as well as copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. The situation is urgent. The details await further investigation.

Around 7:00 p.m. on April 20, 2005, practitioner Wang Zhigang in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province was arrested by National Security agents in Jinzhou City at his mother's home in Laobaobeili.

In the morning on April 2, 2005, Liu Xiangmei and his wife clarified the truth to police officer Ye Songlin and gave him a flyer. The officer reported this to the police station. At 8:00 p.m. the same day, officers from the Qianmiqiao Police station in Dagang, a person named Guo from Liu Xianghai's work unit and perpetrators from the Street Committee arrested Liu Xiangmei from home and sent him to Dagang District Detention Center. They don't allow his family to visit him.

On April 6, 2005, practitioners Ran Qiongying and Wu Xiaoyu were arrested when posting truth clarification flyers in the Renhe District, Panzhihua City. Their homes were ransacked. It has been verified that the police issued an illegal arrest warrant against Ran Qiongying. Fellow practitioners: please send forth righteous thoughts and rescue these two practitioners.

On April 18, police arrested practitioner Wu Liansheng, an employee of the Xianning City Water Conservatory Company, while he was out on a walk. The police extorted 3,000 yuan from his work unit. He was sent to a provincial brainwashing class that same day. It is learned the perpetrators are retaliating against Wu Liansheng because he exposed the crimes committed by Chen Huiyou, the former head of the Water Conservatory Company. Chen Huiyou's son is working at the police station and is responsible for this arrest.

That same day, Mei Xinhua, an employee of the Xianan District, Xianning City was sent to a provincial brainwashing class. He is persecuted because he hasn't paid the Party membership dues for a few months and didn't attend "maintain advancement" study sessions for the Party.

Practitioner Liu Shanmei, living near the Steering Machine Factory in the Xianan District, Xianning City was followed and arrested by plainclothes police officers in January 2004. She was sent to two years of forced labor and is currently being held at the provincial women's labor camp.

Around 9:30 p.m. on March 31, a Dafa materials production site in Zhongxinggu Village, Dabei Town, Ninghe County, Tianjin City was destroyed. Practitioners Dong Guangdong, Liu Lishun and Wang Shouliang were arrested. Additional practitioners were arrested the next day.

On April 19, perpetrators from Fenghuang Town Police Station, the Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province arrested practitioners Sheng Guohong and Zhang Congju. Sheng Guohong's wife, not a practitioner, went into the street and appealed for her husband. She was arrested and sent to the brainwashing class. Zhang Congju's husband Guo Chunsheng is also a practitioner. Local police arrested him in October 2003. They beat him to death at the police station.

It was learned that another meeting discussing the persecution of Falun Gong was held in the Xinzhou District this month, and the arrests were planned.
