Ireland: Anti-torture Exhibit Raises People's Concern (Photos)

On March 12, 2005, Saturday, practitioners in Ireland went to Dun Laoghaire in Dublin to hold a photo exhibit and anti-torture exhibit, attracting many people's attention. They did this in order to help more people learn about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and help stop it, and to rescue Falun Gong practitioner Yang Fang who once studied in Ireland and currently suffers persecution in China.
Dun Laoghaire is a beautiful seaside town in south Dublin that is visited by tourists throughout the year. Yang Fang, who was arrested when she went to appeal in China at the end of December 1999 and is still not allowed to come back to Ireland, was a college student in Dun Laoghaire.
The practitioners hope that more Irish people will join the worldwide voice to stop this brutal and illegal persecution. They also hope that Fang Yang will be allowed to come back from China to the many friends who miss her and are concerned.
