(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Zhou Liqiong and I am a female Falun Dafa practitioner from Guizhou Province in China. On February 26, 2005, a fellow practitioner and I were clarifying the truth in the countryside. The National Security Bureau and local police officials were informed of our activities, and we were illegally arrested.

After our capture, the chief of the National Security Bureau, Luo Guolai, extorted two thousand yuan from me, alleging that this money was our so called "truth clarifying activity fund." Later, Chief Luo, together with his secretary Wang Hualing, sent us to the local detention center.

In the detention center, I persisted in resisting the illegal persecution by holding a hunger strike. During the first three days, my body endured the effects of the hunger strike as I persisted in practicing the Falun Dafa exercises every day. However, on the fourth day, the detention center officers forbid me from practicing the exercises, and threatened to shackle my feet with special shackles. Without practicing the exercises, my body became extremely weak and I could only lie down on my back. I was also beginning to vomit thick blood. When the female officer, Li Jun, who was in charge of the female prison, ordered me to get up, I could not move at all, so she forcefully grabbed my hair, and kicked me in the back with her thick leather boots. Another officer (Officer Number: 017346) did the same thing to me and shouted "It is alright to kill Falun Gong practitioners!"

During the ten days of my hunger strike, Li Jun ordered eight strong men to tie me to a chair with a thick nylon rope to force-feed me. Li Jun forced a large amount of prepared food and water down my throat, and the procedure was extremely grueling and torturous. It nearly suffocated me. This is how this group of inhumane people tortured a sixty-year-old woman.

After being forced-fed, the officers took me to the local hospital. In the hospital, a large group of people immobilized me, and forced a mixture of unknown drugs and milk down my throat via a tube inserted through my nose. As a result, my stomach and mouth began to bleed profusely. By the ninth day, I was on the verge of death. I could not see anything clearly, but could only feel that I was being moved to a steel bed, and my limbs were handcuffed. Moreover, I could feel that some unknown drugs were intravenously being injected into me.

On the day I was arrested, I was a perfectly healthy individual. However, in just ten days, they tortured me nearly to death. Before cultivating in Falun Dafa, my body was full of illnesses, but after walking onto the path of cultivation, my body was light and the illnesses were gone.

The wicked people continued to inject unknown drugs intravenously into me, causing my life signs to deteriorate rapidly. Nevertheless, not only did they not return my two thousand yuan, they also forced my family to pay another three thousand yuan before deciding to release me. Under the effect of the tortures and the unknown drugs, I became unaware of my surroundings, and was forced to have my thumb imprinted onto their so-called repentance statement. I do not acknowledge any such thing, and I hereby declare that this and any similarly coerced statements are null and void.

The Dushan County Detention Center of Guizhou Province forces Falun Dafa practitioners and prison inmates to produce fake products and bulbs. Laborers are not allowed to rest or sleep until their work is done. Most have bleeding hands from the cuts, but they still must continue working. A sixty-eight-year-old woman was deprived of sleep in order to force her to finish her quota, yet she was expected to work as usual the next morning. If she refused to work, then she would not be given any food. Currently, there are about ten Falun Dafa practitioners being detained in this detention center.
