A Non-Practitioner's Doubts about Dafa are Removed After Witnessing a Family Member Escape Injury in a Dangerous Pressure Cooker Explosion

I do not practice Falun Gong, but my parents and my aunt do. By observing the way they conduct themselves I could always see that practitioners of Falun Gong are truly benefiting from the practice and becoming better people by following the principles of Truth, Compassion and Forbearance. I had read in truth-clarifying materials about practitioners whose illnesses disappeared, and about those who safely escaped from life-threatening danger, but I always doubted whether those cases were really true because I had not witnessed them myself.

On March 4, 2005, my point of view changed when I had an opportunity to experience an amazing occurrence in my own home. After personally experiencing Dafa's miraculous nature, I would like to publicly exclaim from my heart, "Falun Dafa is good!"

It was afternoon and my aunt was cooking in the kitchen, when suddenly, the pressure cooker exploded. The sound as it shattered was terrifyingly loud. The deformed cover of the pressure cooker flew through the air and broke the glass on the kitchen door and window, then ricocheted off the doorframe and landed outside the room. The stainless steel stove was broken, and the iron backboard and a marble board that was 2 cm thick were all broken. The exhaust hood located above the stove was completely shattered and fell down to the ground. The strength of the explosion was so powerful that it blew a plastic window out of its frame, leaving a 3 cm (over an inch) gap, and the window bent out of shape. Glass chips were strewn throughout the room, and the contents of the cooker, steaming hot liquid and rice, were stuck to the walls and ceiling.

I was standing there dumbfounded as my aunt switched off the gas and calmly walked out of the kitchen. I saw that her whole body was covered with wet sticky rice. It was dripping from her face but she was not perturbed. Seeing that we were all frightened, she said, "It doesn't matter. It's no problem." Then, looking back on the scene, she explained that she had been in front of the stove, and was just about to pour out a dish of food, when she heard the loud sound. So she moved back about 1 meter and watched the exhaust hood fall down. She realized that if she hadn't moved, the exhaust hood would have landed on her. How dangerous it was! Even the flying glass shards didn't touch her. She wasn't injured at all, except for a small burn on one of her fingers. After a few minutes passed by my aunt's face became rosy with realization. "Dafa protected me," she said repeatedly. "Thank you Master!"

I still think it is quite amazing. If we really believe that Falun Dafa is good, and conduct ourselves according to Truth, Compassion and Forbearance, then we will deeply experience Master protection all the time. It is with sincere appreciation that we express our gratitude to Master for safeguarding our family.

Now we fully understand how Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Dafa is the most evil. We therefore resolutely declare our renunciation from the Chinese Communist Party and from the Communist Youth League. We will completely erase the mark of the evil Communist Party, eliminate the poison of the communist culture's brainwashing and follow Dafa to have a wonderful future.
