Practitioner Zhao Zhuni, 85, from Lincheng County, Hebei Province Dies Resisting Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Zhuni held firmly to her beliefs, and refused to cooperate with the police in persuading her son to give up his beliefs. She was threatened, and died in July, 2004.

Ms. Zhao Zhuni, 85, lived in Lincheng County, Hebei Province. Before practicing Falun Dafa, she had heart disease, psoriasis, numb limbs, and sensitivity to cold water. After practicing Falun Dafa, her illnesses all disappeared, and she became very healthy and energetic. She often told people, "Falun Dafa is great!"

After 1999, when the persecution began, she experienced extreme mental and physical pressures. Her son had been arrested seven times due to firmly holding his beliefs. He was sentenced to forced labor, and was tortured until he vomited blood. In order to force both her and her son to give up Falun Dafa practice, police officers set up a video camera and tried to use her to deceive people. They asked her to kneel down and persuade him to give up his belief. Facing the camera, Ms. Zhao saw her son had been tortured to only skin and bones. She said to her son sadly, "The CCP has really made you suffer!" The police and people who did not know the truth threatened her for her statement. Under the extreme mental and physical pressure, she died in July, 2004.
