After Ms. Zhang Xinyi Was Granted UN Refugee Status, the Cambodian Government Deported Her to China; She Was Arrested Again and Her Whereabouts Are Unknown

On April 28, 2005, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Xinyi was again arrested in Changsha, Hunan Province. Her home was ransacked and her current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Zhang Xinyi and her husband Mr. Li Guojun are Falun Gong practitioners who were granted refugee status by the United Nations Refugee Agency in Cambodia. They were arrested in Phnom Penh on August 2, 2002, and returned to China on August 9. They were taken into custody in Changsha City, Hunan Province after their return to China.
