See Yourself Clearly and Handle Well the Relationship Between Yourself, Teacher, and the Fa

(Clearwisdom.net) The following is an insight I've recently gained from studying the Fa, and I would like to share it just as reference.
The Fa-rectification is such a magnificent and enormous task, and Teacher is the only person that does the work. Although Falun Dafa practitioners are assisting Teacher in the Fa-rectification, it is a great honor bestowed upon us by Teacher. It is Teacher who has given us, beings that were all from the old cosmos, a brand new life. If we ourselves thought that we were really something, even thinking that we should take credit for the success of the Fa-rectification, or felt that we were better than others, the beings at higher levels would find these ideas ridiculous. "'Cultivation is up to you, gong is up to the master'--if you just have that wish you're all set. When it comes to who's actually doing it, it's the master. There's no way you could do that." (From Zhuan Falun)
"As a matter of fact, all forms that manifest are the concrete manifestations of my using the enormous power of Fa to rectify the Fa and save people." (From "Rectification of One's Character" in Essential for Further Advancement) Everything is under Teacher's control. The three things that we are supposed to do and our righteous thoughts and righteous actions on the path of the Fa-rectification, are all meant to help manifest Teacher's grand wish. This will then require that we constantly use Dafa to purify ourselves so that, more and more, our lives are better qualified for the great honor of assisting Teacher. "And why is it called a Pure-White Body? Because you've purified your body to an absolutely high degree. If somebody looks at it with his Third Eye, your whole body is transparent, it's just like transparent glass, and there's nothing there." (From Zhuan Falun) The more we purify ourselves, the less we are aware of ourselves, and the less we think that "I'm doing something" or "I'm saving sentient beings." Everything is the natural manifestation of Teacher's power of the Fa. All we have to do is simply follow the mechanism installed by Teacher.
Seeing this clearly, Dafa practitioners should have absolute respect for Teacher. Then when we practice the exercises and send righteous thoughts, do our heads still tumble with thoughts because we are attached to our work at present? These incorrect states actually also reflect the characteristic of the old cosmos's beings: being attached to self. Therefore, one would have failed to understand Teacher's boundless power of the Fa, and would incorrectly think that some specific success in validating the Fa is achieved through one's own personal effort.
