More Details about the Death of Mr. Wang Wenju, a Teacher in Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province


(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Wenju, 38, was an English teacher at the Tanggou Middle School in Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province. He began practicing Falun Dafa in 2004. He was arrested for clarifying the truth in class and subsequently sentenced to prison. Around March 20, 2005, Mr. Wang was sent to Shenyang City for further torture. Later he was transferred to the Nanhuayuan Prison in Fushun City, where he died on April 27 from the persecution.

Before Mr. Wang died, he had been on a hunger strike and was force-fed with highly concentrated salt water. When he asked the authorities to pull out the feeding tube so that he could resume eating, the prison officers demanded that he provide a written guarantee that he would continue eating and not go on a hunger strike again. Mr. Wang rejected this demand and the officers encouraged an inmate named Chi Qin to torture him. Chi Qin, in turn, ordered another inmate to flick his fingers against Mr. Wang's eyes, causing his eyes to turn black.
