After Harbin Practitioner Guo Shijun Was Tortured to Death, the Police Secretly Cremated His Body to Destroy the Evidence

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Guo Shijun, a resident of Hongqi Town, Nangang District in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, was sent home after he was tortured to the verge of death at the Harbin Labor Camp. Guo Shijun died 8 days later at noon on February 9, 2005. The staff of the Harbin Police Department, Nangang Branch and the Hongqi Police Station took his body away and cremated it on the night of March 29, 2005, without informing any of his family members.

In order to escape their responsibility and cover up their crime, before sending Guo Shijun back home from the labor camp, the camp policemen drew up a document stating that Guo Shijun had "two kinds of cancers." Mr. Guo's family and relatives doubted this as the cause of death, so they didn't bury his body, and were going to have an autopsy conducted to determine the real cause of his death. They intended to take care of the burial after that.

Guo Shijun's wife couldn't support the family after his death. She had to leave with her son and go to another village in order to survive.

In order to determine the cause of Guo Shijun's death, local practitioners obtained approval of his family and did some examination of his body when they changed his clothes. There were numerous wounds all over his body, without a good patch of skin anywhere. He had been shocked and beaten with high voltage electric batons and kicked with boots. Even his anus and genitals were deformed and had turned black, and he had suffered a rectal prolapse. What cruel, excruciating pain that must have caused! We couldn't determine what kind of damage had been done to his internal organs. We recorded the body on video, and took some pictures. We published these pictures on the Internet to let more people know the truth of the persecution of Falun Dafa, and understand the real face and lies of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party).

Without an official autopsy report, the staff of the Harbin Police Department Nangang Branch and the Hongqi Police Station took Guo Shijun's body to be cremated on the night of March 29, 2005, but his family was not informed of this at all. This was done to destroy any incriminating evidence, to deceive people, and to avoid being accused of any wrongdoing.
