When Falun Gong practitioners' contingent, which was composed of waist drummers, a group of practitioners holding flags, "celestial maidens," two huge posters displaying Falun Gong's wide spread around the world, and a huge kite with the words "Falun Dafa," presented themselves at the opening ceremony, they attracted curiosity from thousands of citizens, and immediately became the focal point of the media. The "Hill of Zongzi" set up on the left side of the stage revealed the cultural meaning of the dragon boat festival. It was made by a Falun Gong practitioner, who presented it to the citizens of Tangerang.
