By a practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) A practitioner from my city was imprisoned for distributing "truth- clarification" materials. She did not give up her belief in Dafa, so she was tortured to death by police in the prison. Her family was deceived by the CCP's evil propaganda and lies about Dafa. They developed a negative attitude toward Dafa and blamed the practitioner's death on Dafa. Through sharing and discussion, local practitioners realized that relatives of the dead practitioner are also our relatives. If the practitioner had any unfulfilled wishes for her relatives, we should take them as ours. Teacher said: "The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things." To clarify truth to the family members and change their negative attitude toward Dafa, the local practitioners gathered together to send forth righteous thoughts and eliminate the evil forces around the family. Two of us visited the family bringing some nutritious food and 500 yuan donated by practitioners. When we arrived at the home of the practitioner's family that evening, we saw her 60-year-old husband cooking under the weak light of a lamp. Sorrow suddenly filled my heart and tears came into my eyes. I said to the elderly man: "Grandpa, we're here to see you."

He appeared to be confused, so the other practitioner explained: "We heard that your wife was persecuted to death and we're here to see you on behalf of all the Dafa practitioners in the city." Upon hearing this, he invited us to come in to his home.

We talked with him about his family and then about other things. We clarified the truth to him about Dafa and the unjust persecution towards the deceased practitioner, his wife. We presented the plain facts to the husband: his wife had suffered from an illness for more than 20 years, but it disappeared after she started practicing Falun Gong. She had not done anything wrong or harmed anyone. She only followed Dafa's standard to be a good person. So why was she tortured to death? Is this right? Shouldn't we, who are alive, seek justice for her? While we talked, we were also sending forth righteous thoughts. The elderly man listened carefully. Soon tears fell down his cheeks. We could see that he missed his wife very much and regretted that he had misunderstood Dafa and the practitioners' actions. In the end, we told him an international organization to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong was established and its mission is to investigate the criminal conduct of all institutions, organizations, and individuals involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. He was very touched upon hearing this, speechlessly holding our hands tightly.

Before we left, we told him to remember "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good". He said he would remember this. We were heartily happy for him that he understood the truth.
