Several Cases of Karmic Retribution for Mistreating Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of Karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will invite due retribution. Articles such as this are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape karmic retribution.

Jiang Chaoqiang, male, about 55 years old, was a former 610 office chief in Tianyang County. He was in charge of arresting and detaining more than a dozen Falun Gong practitioners. He conducted forced brainwashing sessions in 2000 and he died of cancer in 2004.

Zhao Xinwu, 43 years old, used to be the deputy chief of the retirement officials administration in the Daqing Petroleum Managing Bureau. In 2002, he was promoted to the Oil Well Survey Company as the party deputy secretary and active Discipline Committee secretary. Later, he moved to the Kunlun Corporation of the Daqing Petroleum Management Bureau as the party deputy secretary, where his major responsibility was to persecute Dafa practitioners. During his time in the Oil Well Surveying Company and in the Kunlun Corporation, he assigned the persecution responsibilities in each area and set up an award and punishment system, which was linked to each employee's income. He and his other officials used several methods, including deceit, to persecute and arrest Dafa practitioners. Practitioners clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to him several times. He not only did not regret what he had done, but he also treated practitioners' kindness as a joke. In April of 2005, when he took a physical exam, he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Wang Ping was the Xiangyang Village Chief in the Erdaojiang District of Tonghua City. Whenever he found any Dafa truth-clarification flyers and posters, he would report them to the police. Then he had people who were not clear about the truth of Falun Gong destroy the materials. He even conducted searches of Dafa practitioner's homes and burned Dafa materials. In 2004, as a result of his oppressing people and forming cliques for selfish desires, his unlawful activities were reported and he was detained for upcoming investigation.

Zhang Jinjuan, a guard at the Beilo Detention Center in Benxi City, was directly involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Zhang Jinjuan had a criminal inmate beat Ms. Tan Yajiao, even though she was pregnant at the time. He also had the inmate put her in foot shackles and handcuffs so she could not move for a long time. They repeated this torture for several days, which caused Ms. Tan to have a miscarriage. As a result, Zhang Jinjuan received karmic retribution, which had impact on her family. Her husband suffered cardiac arrest, followed by bypass surgery that cost over 10,000 Yuan, and he has not recovered yet.

Song Jian, 42 years old, lived in Yitong County. Initially he worked at the County Propaganda Department. In 2001, when a representative of Jiang's regime in the county party committee conducted brainwashing sessions to "reform" Dafa practitioners, he gave several lectures on topics such as the Communist evil principles and how to fabricate stories in order to defame Dafa. During the years 2003 and 2004, he transferred to work at the County Disciplinary and Inspection Committee, and continued persecuting Dafa practitioners. On February 18, 2005, he died suddenly from an acute illness.
